There is a thread within the Healthsmart team that embodies a deep respect and mutual admiration for traditions and heritage. Grounded in years of family pharmacy ownership, Bob Busbee is a third generation pharmacist. Beginning with his Grandfather and then his Father; Bob and his daughter have continued the affinity for independent pharmacy ownership. Family values are at the helm of all that they do. They, along with their staff consider it a privilege to serve their community because their customer’s health and well-being matters to them—just as it did for Bob’s dad and his Grandfather.

There is something to be said for the bonds that friendship can have both in life and in business. Trust, loyalty and dependability are foundational, but mutual respect is powerful. Bob Busbee and Barry Whisnant have a long history of mutual respect. Growing up together, their friendship; which spans decades, is a fabric of memories that weaves together small town values, lots of laughter, never taking yourself too seriously, and an abundance of cherished stories that defines the very essence of what makes life both rich and meaningful.
