Healthy Happy Kids child care is a unique child care setting that provides high quality daycare in a safe, healthy, and nurturing environment for ages 0-5.
Ms. Kristen’s daycare experience began early being the oldest of four children. Her mother was an art teacher and had an in-home daycare while her siblings were young. Even at that age, she helped her mother educate and create activities for the children. Ms. Kristen completed a Master of Science in Health Education and worked as a health educator for ten years. Her earliest job included working with the Florida WIC (Women, Infants and Children) Program, where she educated families about infant and children nutrition and breastfeeding consultation. Later she worked for LifeBridge Health System as a Health Educator which included educating school-age children about nutrition, stress, and exercise. Ms. Kristen found it rewarding to work with children, and it was at that point she began to think about having a daycare.
Healthy Happy Kids Inc is a unique child care setting that provides high quality daycare in a safe, healthy, nurturing environment with the main focus centered around helping children grow into wonderful and curious individuals. Children are exposed to an exciting age-appropriate curriculum that includes music, science, reading, art, cooking and free play activities all designed to stimulate a child’s physical, intellectual, social and emotional development. Healthy Happy Kids proudly serves families who reside in the following communities of Northern Baltimore County: Hunt Valley, Cockeysville, Lutherville, Timonium, Reisterstown, and Owings Mills. Healthy Happy Kids accepts children ranging from infancy to five years of age. Due to the owner’s health and wellness background, there is increased emphasis placed on healthy meals, healthy cooking activities, health and safety education and physical activity.
