Awesome food, awesome service, easy to use website, great pricing. I've been a customer since their first location by the Ronkonkoma Train Station, the owner Mike is a great guy, my husband and I didn't have a mircowave we just didn't want one he offered to give to us one. They have a customer for life.

I'm new to HMD.  I pick up my meals from the Hicksville location and the staff are very courteous and helpful.  There's such a variety of choices that you won't have trouble choosing meals that appeal to your taste. For someone who does not cook for myself, it's a blessing having delicious meals at a very fair price.

Love this place. Food is great. Obviously you will find some meals as your favorites over others. Order process is easy. Referred two family members and a friend and everybody loves it. Had one minor issue with a meal in an order after many successful orders, Customer service was prompt and took care of the situation right away. Don’t hesitate to try it out. I started with a 7 meal order and now me and my wife do the 28 meal package a week.

Loving the food. Only looking to lose a couple of pounds. It’s good for a single person whose not a big cook.

So convenient. I've lost 65 lbs in the last year thanks in part to HMD. I've tasted near every dish on their menu and they keep on adding more!! The Coconut Curry Chicken is my favorite but you really can't go wrong with anything they make. I live in Massapequa so it's super convenient for me to get there but they keep opening up new locations. Hickville just opened up and that's very close to where i work. I honestly can't say enough nice things about this company. The nutrition info for one of their buy it by the pound chicken options wasn't on the website so i emailed them on a friday night. Got a response in about an hour. Amazing customer service. I typically order online and pick up in store. I've never gotten an incorrect meal in my box. I've used other meal prep services in the past both locally as well as not. But this is the only company i use now. Thank you Healthy Meals Direct.

I started buying meals from HMD about a week ago and I am impressed! Usually I’m hesitant to purchase prepackaged foods but every meal I’ve had tasted super fresh. The chicken was always tender,  even several days after I purchased it. So far I’ve had the shrimp scampi with cauliflower rice, habanero chicken with cauliflower rice, chicken dumplings, and jerk chicken Mac n cheese. It’s surprising how low calorie the meals are and how full I am afterwords! Also the cauliflower rice is a great substitute and the way it’s prepared is delicious and gives a subtle crunch that I truly enjoy. I actually prefer it now to real rice. Also the staff here is very friendly! 10/10! Now I wait to see the pounds come off haha.

Healthier & cheaper than any other popular meal prep service I've tried. The food is really good for how healthy it is. Well packaged and definitely 100% fresh. Really does surpass companies like Freshly in every way.

I truly don’t understand how a company has a discount program for first responders and when I say I’m a nurse it’s oh sorry your not considered one. We’ve been in a pandemic over the last yearstill are, I work at a vaccination center  but still I’m not considered a first responder? If you ask me nurses have been the TOP first responder throughout all this but I guess we’re not good enough. I used to shop here alot but now I’m reconsidering.  Update: Honestly that response just proves my point. We value you but your not good enough for the 10%. As a nurse working full time during a pandemic i rather not spend my hard earned money at a place I need to fight for a lousy 10%. It's not even about that just the principle.

I tried several of the meals and I will continue using them. The salmon & brussel sprouts, chicken parmigiana bites, meat sauce and yellow rice and dumplings & broccoli. I started using this service because the meals are already prepared for you. Just heat in the microwave and eat. They deliver and the meals are reasonably priced.

So far so good just ate one of the keto meals and bought 2 frozens.  This is a great option cause I'm not able to cook due to my work schedule.  No more fast food I'm going to stock up next time I go in!  Store clerk very helpful btw
