WEBSITE NOT UPDATED SINCE 2022 AND LIES ABOUT MEDICAL RECORDS ARE OBVIOUS AND THE DENTIST AND RECEPTIONIST ARE COMPLETELY UNETHETHICAL, MY CHILD IS MISSING TEETH AND THE OTHER IS MISSING RECORDS FROM 2021 this is a review about ETHICS I went into the office today to geta dental verification form from the Dr's office Heavenly Smiles in South Bay today and went to the adult side of the office due to the pediatric office being closed. When I went inside I explained that I needed a form filled out, in order for my daughter to start school. I explained this to the receptionist/medical/dentalassistant who wasat thefront office. Iexplained the datethat I needed it by and explained thatearlier I spoketo areceptionist or personwho had answered the phonearound about 9:30amwhile I wascurrently at theschooland scheduling an appointment viatelephone. In the process ofmespeaking to the person on the phoneI was told that Icould bring in her dentalforms today to befilled out. The dentist Anthony Baldwin came outand asked what theissue wasas I became upsetand started questioningwhymy daughter's records were not in thesystemand why theformcould not befilled out whileI was in the officeand wasalso informed that her dentalrecords werelost because oftheir systemcrashing orasystematicerror. Thesethings were notexplained nor discussed over the phone but only in person. In the midst ofthis going on Iexplained that Icould notcomein the next day and that I had anotherchild includingmy daughter who have breathing issuesand the furtherappointments for thosechildren could not berescheduled dueto the offices not having availability untilthe next year of 2024. Iexplained this to the dentistand thereceptionist whileI was on the phone waiting to have more pending documents received fromthe officein order to complete her registration forms, butacopy of her records fromthe dentist was necessary. I reiterated this multipletimes to the Drand the medicalassistant who did not have any concern and stated they needed to get back to other patients. The doctor then explained in person that Icould getalimited visit to beseen and get theformfilled out. Iexplained that I was upset because none ofthesethings wereexplained over the phoneas I have multipleappointmentsand I havechildrenwith specific medical needs that need to beaddressed. Ialso had an incident with this officeearlier this year whenmy olderchild had to haveteeth extracted and was given the opportunity to havespacers put into his mouth but theinsurancerejected theclaim, leavingmeto haveto pay out of pocket when I do not havethe money to cover theseexpenses. My femalechild was then dismissed asa patient for measking questions multipletimesand the doctor refused to listen to my concernsand asked meto leave his office when I was simply and clearly stating theconcernsand needs that I needed met. I do not feelthat this wasethical or professionalfor myTHREEYEAROLDchild to be dismissed fromthe office overasimplerefusal ofcommunicationwith someone who is licensed and is supposed to have empathy and careand theability to correctmistakes,especially involvingmultiplechildren especially in a proven environment where most peopleare underserved and most needs or notmet. I do notappreciate Mr Anthony Maquan's treatment oractions towards my familywhen allI wasasking for wasa datethat worked withmy and my children's scheduleand a piece of paper to befilled outso thatmy child can start Pre-K. This was unnecessary and nasty and rudeand Iamdisgusted by the behavior. The other dentistsand medicalassistants have not treated my child likethis in the past. Please notethat despiteexplanations, I did notcurse or berateanyoneand I was not wrong forasituation that wasn'tmy fault, pleasealso understand that records from2021 werethe only records found on file. My child was seen in the officealongwith her older brother in the year 2023. I believe my child was lied on and can provethis.
Unprofessional, unorganized My appointment for May 15 had to be rescheduled because the office wasn’t going to be open during that week. I was given a call on March 15 saying if I could come in the following day March 16 because there was a “cancellation”. I told the staff that I was able to come in. That same day March 15 I got a call saying that I don’t have an appointment anymore. Apparently what happened was that they called the customer who originally had an appointment for March 16 to confirm their appointment so because that customer didn’t answer their phone, I’m guessing the staff assumed it was a “cancellation” so they called me. I was told that the customer called back and that they weren’t going to be able to see me anymore on March 16. Now their next available appointment isn’t until July. Upset to say the least
DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME I called to book an appointment on the 27th around 1pm. I was told I could come on the 28th at 8:30am. I show up and was told my appointment was never scheduled with them and they’re only accepting 3 emergency walk ins and to “try my luck “ tomorrow morning. I asked the receptionist if it stated “3 per walk in” on their website. She says no but proceeds to say, once a person schedules an appointment with them they would be informed…. This place is a dam JOKE!!!!
Today's experience was phenomenal. Dr Baldwin and his assistant were very welcoming as usual.They explained each step in detail and his cutting edge techniques reassured me I was in good hands. I'm beyond pleased
Dr. Baldwin did a great job on my husband teeth love his work. Will definitely be back again soon . The staff is awesome
