Heisler Egg Farm is a family owned and operated egg farm in Tamaqua, Pennsylvania.
It was in 1952 when Jay and Pauline Heisler built the first layer house, and their legacy still goes on today. The first house only contained about 900 laying hens. We say only because today Heisler's Egg Farm has about a quarter million laying hens. Yes you read that right 250,000 laying hens! Back in the beginning years caring for the hens and gathering all the eggs was done completely by hand. However, today no one touches an egg. The eggs are collected, cleaned, and packaged into the correct carton all by computers and equipment! It is a pretty amazing! Heisler's Egg Farms main goal is and always will be is to provide a quality product and give good service to their customers.
