Henderson Law is a small law firm that specializes in complex cases in federal and state courts.
In the past 32 years I, Daniel Henderson (aka Henderson Law, a name I thought might be kinda' catchy like the 1980's and 90's TV show LA Law for those of us who go back that far) have mainly concentrated my legal career on representing folks in three types of cases, to wit (legal jargon meaning namely):
a) Serious trucking and car wrecks (I don't care much for big trucking companies, sorry);
b) Family law ranging from hotly contested child custody cases involving child psychologists to "nasty divorces" (with fights over family owned businesses, a bunch of property, other assets and involving private investigators and forensic accounting experts) to "friendly divorces" like the "this just ain't working no matter how long and hard we've tried, let's just end this civilly, fairly and quickly for our sakes and the kids' sake" kind; and
c) Criminal Defense work. Funny how some folks don't seem to care much for criminal defense lawyers until they need one. Perhaps we should remind ourselves of those now famous words of John Bradford (English preacher of the 1500's) who while watching a prisoner being led to his execution exclaimed "There but the grace of God go I",
I, (aka Henderson Law, remember?), have had the honor of defending folks in criminal cases of many shapes and sizes including numerous murder cases, federal and state racketeering (RICO) cases, federal and state drug conspiracy cases and death penalty appeals at the state, federal and U.S. Supreme Court level.
I wanted to be a lawyer since age 12; I really enjoy working in the courtroom, especially before a jury; I like people, I'm a nice guy, and I really, really like a good fight. I've defend folks in Georgia, several nearby states and even once in federal court in New York. I am blessed to have achieved much success in the courtroom, (no, I'm not batting 1000 and please don't trust any lawyer that might say they are). I am tremendously honored to even be able to tell you (with my left hand on the Bible and my right hand in the air should you wish) that on several occasions former jurors from trials I defended someone in have afterwards located me asking me to represent their family member or close friend.
I prepare my cases very diligently before I get in the courtroom; and I am very sincere when I get there, cause' that's the way my folks raised me growing up on the farm in Mississippi and cause' that's what my clients pay their hard earned money for me to do.
Oh yeah, I've won some awards in my profession, e.g. ( legal jargon meaning for example) Who's Who in American Law, but enough bragging already, besides I know I'm not perfect.
Finally, I am very happy to say " I married up" about 25 years ago to a beautiful, intelligent woman who wrote a great children's book, (under her pen name Grace Allen) which book you just gotta' check out on Amazon.
