Yvonne R. Murray-Boyles is a 2009 graduate of the University of South Carolina School Of Law. While in law school, Yvonne served as president of the Black Law Students Association, was a student representative of the Student Bar Association, a member of Phi Delta Pi, Inn of Courts, Women in Law, Thurgood Marshall Mock Trial Team and the Pro Bono Board. Additionally, she was a student member of the Federal Bar Association and South Carolina Association for Justice. She received several awards while in law school, including the Luther Lee Scholarship and the Outstanding Pro Bono Service Award. Yvonne also worked as a law clerk for Johnson Toal and Battiste, assisting on major civil and criminal cases.
Yvonne was hired as an associate attorney at Johnson, Toal and Battsite in November of 2009 and worked vigorously representing her clients. During her time with Johnson, Toal and Battiste, her areas of practice were criminal, domestic law, civil litigation and personal injury law. In March of 2014, she opened the Law Office of Yvonne Murray-Boyles, LLC. Since opening her own practice, she continues to ensure the rights of her clients are protected and puts forth the time and effort necessary to do so in each case. She is licensed to practice in all state and federal South Carolina courts. Primarily, her practice includes domestic law, state and federal criminal defense, general civil litigation and personal injury cases.
Attorney Murray-Boyles is a Commissioner on the South Carolina Commission of Indigent Defense and is very active in the community. Yvonne holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Finance from Benedict College and a Master’s in Business Administration from Webster University. Yvonne is the mother of three sons: Armani, James & Collin.
