I was in the process of selling our house with the closing date 10 days away with a weekend and an out of town trip scheduled before closing. I was notified by the buyer's closing attorney's office that they found a discrepancy with the mortgage history on our house. On Friday before I had to leave town, I went by the McDonnell Law Firm, who closed on our home years back, and to my fortune, Christie McDonnell was there and met with me without an appointment and after I presented to her what I learned from the buyer's closing attorney's office, Christie quickly assimilated the information and determined what needed to be done. She assured me that she would contact the other attorney's office and resolve this. Later that same day, I received a communication from Christie McDonnell stating that the problem had been resolved and she provided me with a copy of the executed document indicating this. Our closing date stayed on schedule and I was able to go on my trip. I cannot say enough about the professionalism, courtesy , and true concern Christie McDonnell presented helping me at a critical time. Her confidence and willingness to address my issue was reassuring to me. This was only surpassed by the timeliness and completeness that she employed to resolve the issue. As I mentioned earlier, I was fortunate that she was there when I needed help.
I paid cash for my house only to find out a few months later that the sellers sold the whole backyard to SCDOT. Went to the office after getting the runaround over the phone and everyone was too busy to come out and talk to me. I emailed my lawyers the closing documents and was told I had title insurance. After my lawyer explained everything to me, I reached back out to McDonnell & Associates. This time I had the knowledge that felt like they didn’t want me to know. Finally was able to get in contact with the right people to get this issue fixed. No thanks to McDonnell & Associates and they still haven’t answered why is my deed signed to someone that I don’t know. I wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone.
If you are in the orocess of buying a home, this is the Title company/ Law office that you need to use!! I had a closing at the 233 Rivers Rd Augusta GA and they were the Title company used. Tyann deom the closing department and Marie as a lawyer they were incredible!!! Until the last minute they are with you, literally!!! So professional and dedicated about what they do!!! Superrrr satisfied customers!!

Needed a Will done for myself and Andrew Thompson was the one that sat down with me and explained everything with me and my exact needing of the Will. Had a clerk notarize it and was done within couple hrs. Easy breezy to work with and will use in future for any family real estate needs
My husband and I purchased a home using Boomerang Title, by way of McDonnell and Associates PA. Shortly after moving in we received a check, federally expressed from the title company. On or about May 3 we deposited the check into my account. It was cashed by May 5. On May 9th. I checked my account and it was overdrawn. When I contacted the office, Amanda, matter of factly says, we thought we owed you but when we got the "final" paperwork we saw that we do not, so we stopped payment on the check. Without contacting my husband and I. I asked why would you federally express a check to us without having the closing paperwork that seems necessary to me. She had no response and no apology. The officeAmanda says an email was sent, that we never received we both checked. This was inappropriate from any business. If you are going to stop payment on a check that was already cashed, I think that warrants enough consideration and courtesy for your customers to make a phone call or at least send notice by mail. My husband and I purchased a $400,000 house and was not respected enough to make a phone call. As a result all items that was paid from the transaction accrued charges. I would not expect this from a 1-star company let alone a 5-star. I tried calling, no one picks up and email, no response. Beware of this company, also you have the wrong number listed on your Boomerang web page. Our lives matter too! Less
