Herencia

We visited Herencia for the first time and absolutely loved our visit! The chips were fresh and crispy, and the salsa was smokey Chipotle and delicious. We loved their margaritas, and both my husband and I loved our meals I had a salad with the best shrimp I've had in a long time, and my husband had a seafood stew/dish that he loved. But the service is what set them apart! Our waiter unfortunately I can't remember his name, but we shared our experience with the owner was amazing and the owner or manager stopped by to make sure everything was perfect. Well definitely be back!

A beautiful restaurant that’s not the typical Tex Mex. Higher quality and fresher food than I have eaten at Mi Cocina or Uncle Julios, although I certainly appreciate them too. After several visits, I find a great love for the Ceviche, brisket queso, seafood soup, meatloaf I know, not what you are expecting, Brisket tacos, traditional enchiladas, and ribeye. The house created and made cocktails are all I’ve tried several really great. I’ll miss the cranberry margarita and the pear crisp after this holiday. I highly recommend a few visits so you can work your way through the menu. The cowboy beans beat the lard ridden refried beans for me.

Our favorites are: the ceviche trio, jalapeño brisket appetizers, chips and house salsa, and the apple or pear crumb dessert. The seasonal cranberry margarita is wonderful. They went out of their way to make sure my allergies were addressed before they prepared the food. Love the ambiance. We've been twice, we'll be back.

Good texmex restaurant. Nice seating and ambience. Food was ok. Service was good. I wish our server had a smile on her face is not sure she was tired working hard all day. They have a separate vegetarian menu as well which is good.

Chips were fresh, thin and crispy. Small house margarita's are $9 each, brisket taco plate was good but thought the brisket could use some smoke flavor.

So. Good. The manager was great and gave us recommendations. The hand shaken pina colada was the best one I've ever had. We LOVED the ceviche appetizerespecially the smoked trout. The salsas were so unique. The manager was amazing ... even if the server was just meh. This is a must eat at!

Fun spot in Southlake to grab TexMex. I ordered chips and queso and the crab stuffed shrimp with seasonal veggies. The shrimp were large and cooked well and the queso was fantastic. Service was wonderful! My only complaint is that the spicy margarita was too sweet and had very little heat. I ordered a ranch water as a replacement that was much better.

Excellent fajitas, shrimp, delicious enchiladas and margaritas. Amazing queso...run to this place!!

Food was outstanding, best beans and rice I've ever had. However it is on the pricier side. Would give it 5 stars but the floor manager was very rude/curt to us on 2 occasions. It really put a damper on our date night. Maybe he was just having an off night, but don't take it out on me and my wife.

Great salsa, fresh made guacamole and delicious Enchiladas Verde. Big portions and just the right amount of spice! Great service also. The manager came by to check on everything.
