I'm kicking myself for not visiting this place sooner. It's a small museum with an impressive owner history and fleet of Aircraft, many of which are airworthy. The $10 is a mere pittance to pay to get so close to so many cool exhibits.
Incredible museum with a lot of unique aviation and space history. Check out their new earthrise gallery and be sure to catch a fly day if you can!Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
Nice quaint museum. When we went, there was an exhibit on 1968, the Apollo VIII, and a decent display of planes. We spent 1.5 hours here. Depending on your interest in plane and random military items, you can spend way more or way less time here. Don't expect this to be a big city museum and don't expect there to be things to do for very small kids, but it's a good museum to check out.
What a great way to witness and experience history. The pieces in this air collection are in great shape, there are planes, vehicles, and space exhibition for the Apollo 8 mission. The artifacts that have been donated add depth to the displays that other museums don't have.
Personalized service from the men who were working there. It was a nice visit and they were very informative, too. There is a lot of historical significance at this location. Love airplanes.
Absolutely awesome! Incredible docents who were pilots and ex-military. Amazing planes to see with historical context for each. Lovely watching small planes come and go - even got to see fly over of some older military trainer planes. Highly recommend this museum!!!Wait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNoPrice for adult entry$6–10
Off the beaten path Vintage Aircraft Museum. This museum used to be located in Bellingham Washington but relocated to Skagit Regional Airport. Every 2nd Saturday during the summer they have Fly Days where you can see these beautiful aircraft in action. The museum is owned by Retired Astronaut Bill Anders who was on the Apollo 8 program. Lot of great history here at this museum for all to enjoy.
I went on a docent your he knew about the planes and flew some of them. Lovely old planes.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNoPrice for adult entry$1–5
My photos don't do this place justice. It is outstanding. A must see in the Pacific Northwest. Not just a Museum, they actually fly the aircraft.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNot surePrice for adult entry$6–10
Had the BEST experience. Talked to many different service personnel past and present and future service folks. Watching the fly overs is UNBEATABLE. I HIGHLY recommend going. Go often.
