Heritage Land Bank operates in 11 Central East Texas counties and 5 North Texas counties, including the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.
Heritage Land Bank is part of the nationwide Farm Credit System, established by Congress in 1916 to provide access to affordable credit. Our congressional fathers chose a cooperative structure for this financing system, knowing that customer-owned cooperatives would focus on their borrowers' needs rather than on investors' profits. The best part of being a cooperative, is that we share our earnings with our customers through patronage payments. When Heritage Land Bank does well financially, our customers benefit.
We currently have offices in Athens, Fort Worth, Greenville, Jacksonville, Lindale, Lufkin, McKinney, Nacogdoches, Palestine and Tyler.
"To provide a dependable source of credit and financially related services to enhance the economic well being of farmers, ranchers, rural residents and agri-businesses in the counties that we serve."
Long-term repayment plans with terms from five to twenty years; adjustable or fixed interest rate plans; monthly, quarterly, and semi-annual payment options; and customized loan packages to fit special situtations, especially to increase loan availability to young, beginning and small farmers.
