These grounds are beautiful. It’s a little on the smaller side as far as property size so you can get through it within a couple of hours max, but it’s stunning. They have some installations and the light/sound experience is really moving.
Lots of historic and cultural artifacts. Intricate woodwork. Interesting and touching art exhibits upstairs. Gardens have sculptures and archways, benches and you can see the water. Entry is free but theres a cute little gift shop with handmade items.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNoPrice for adult entryFree
The Claudia Bueno exhibit was amazing but the views of the water and the trails around the property were what brought us back! Loved it!Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNoPrice for adult entryFree
Always a great time. Super helpful staff, beautiful views and thought provoking shows. Highly recommend.
Beautiful gardens and home. Views of the water are stunning- we watched dolphins play. Definitely worth a visit- the house tour is wild.
Great spot for a free outdoor event today for May Day. I will come back and check out the rest of the place when it’s open properly. Beautiful location in a fancy neighborhood. Friendly atmosphere and all around fun time!
Beautiful. Just wow. We do wish we had more access to rooms. They closed kinda early. We went at 5p one day, so sunny and I thought it would be nice to walk around but the gates close at 5 so we left and came back.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNoFree entryYes

If you are in and around the Norfork area, visiting or otherwise, this place is a must visit. Take a stroll through the expansive gardens which feature wooded trails and river views. Take a picnic lunch, a book to read, or just meditate under the massive Magnolia Tree, or sit on a bench overlooking the Lafayette River. It's just gorgeous. And I haven't even discussed the amazing collection of art that is contained within this massive home turned museum. The building itself is a work of art. There's a lot to see here so you'll want to take your time, and you'll want to visit at different times of the year as well. They host exhibitions, and events of all stripe. Stay informed so you can experience it all. You must go!!!
