These grounds are beautiful. It’s a little on the smaller side as far as property size so you can get through it within a couple of hours max, but it’s stunning. They have some installations and the light/sound experience is really moving.
What a great place to visit! The people are friendly and helpful, and they give the kids scavenger hunts to make the property more interactive. The grounds are absolutely stunning and peaceful. I will go back!Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNoPrice for adult entryFree
Great spot for a free outdoor event today for May Day. I will come back and check out the rest of the place when it’s open properly. Beautiful location in a fancy neighborhood. Friendly atmosphere and all around fun time!

If you are in and around the Norfork area, visiting or otherwise, this place is a must visit. Take a stroll through the expansive gardens which feature wooded trails and river views. Take a picnic lunch, a book to read, or just meditate under the massive Magnolia Tree, or sit on a bench overlooking the Lafayette River. It's just gorgeous. And I haven't even discussed the amazing collection of art that is contained within this massive home turned museum. The building itself is a work of art. There's a lot to see here so you'll want to take your time, and you'll want to visit at different times of the year as well. They host exhibitions, and events of all stripe. Stay informed so you can experience it all. You must go!!!
What a lovely little spot. “Echos in the Heart” is the current art exhibit and it was just breathtaking. I didn’t get to walk the grounds, which are supposed to be vast, because of a wedding about to take place - but I’ll be back for that! The little cottage home has some beautiful handcrafted wood working that is worth a visit on its own. And it’s all free too! Usually will spend a little in the gift shop to contribute but it was closed because of the wedding also. This seems like a place you can visit repeatedly since the art installations will rotate and the grounds will change with the seasons.
I had never heard of this beautiful place until finding out about a beautiful exhibit by Claudia Bueno called Echoes of the Heart. Go check it out and their website too.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNot surePrice for adult entryFree
Beautiful. Just wow. We do wish we had more access to rooms. They closed kinda early. We went at 5p one day, so sunny and I thought it would be nice to walk around but the gates close at 5 so we left and came back.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNoFree entryYes
We didn’t realize that our visit was on their opening weekend, but it was a wonderful place to check out some local art and very nice groundsVisited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNot surePrice for adult entryFree
Wonderful small museum. We couldn't see everything because of a live theater experience setup, but what we could was fantastic. Very much an experience as well as a museum since the building is so much a part of the exhibits. Feelings can be fraught as a colonist/culture tourist pov is intrinsic to the collection. It doesn't diminish the works at all, but the light in how you are able to see them. Similar with the ivory works, which are amazing, but are the evidence of elephants being taken.
