We recently stayed at the Lodge and overall it was a wonderful experience! We loved the Lodge I will say I underestimated the size of this place…save yourself the trouble and let them take your bags to your room. I also highly recommend you do the express check in to avoid a long check in process. There was plenty to do including the water park area, outdoor pool, putt putt and arcades. We also ate dinner at the Bear Den and it was great and the prices were very reasonable. The cafe has pretty good for breakfast they had good coffee and pastries sadly we they closed before we were able to get there to try the ice-cream the night before. We only stayed one day but I wish we had stayed longer to experience everything there was to do. The only things we didn’t love was it took forever to get get anyone from housekeeping to bring toilet paper and we were completely out. I understand they were very busy so I went to the front desk but they didn’t have any and said they would send housekeeping up. Also I don’t recommend the pull out chair for teens, it would probably be fine for small kids but my son was super uncomfortable and didn’t sleep most of the night, he ended up sleeping on the floor it was so uncomfortable and the blanket in the closet for the pull out chair was either dirty or super stained next time we definitely won’t chose this room option. Overall the hotel was very clean and tidy so I think it just happened to be overlooked. The rooms also had cool features like Hershey kiss sheets and pillow cases and our king bed and pillows were comfy. I was very pleased with our visit and we will definitely return again and hopefully stay longer next time.
If you love chocolate, the smell of it, the taste of it, and simply everything about it, you will love Hershey Lodge! It has a cabin feel although it is an enormous space. The staff was nice and the food at Fire & Grain was fantastic! Be sure to go during happy hour. Overall, I enjoyed my stay even though the hallways felt as though I was in a horror movie, LOL. Hershey, PA in general is a quaint place. Walkability: You will need a car. The hotel has a shuttle, but it's pricey. Uber or renting a car is the best way to see the town.
I celebrated my son's birthday this past weekend at Hershey Lodge,I mist say I have been to many of these theme parks but Hershey is simply the BEST. The Hotel staff was so kind and professional, check in and out was easy and the place was very clean. Our best time was at the indoor water park, where I must make note of a woman by the name of Lindsey, I believe she is the manager, I have never seen anyone in this profession work as hard as she had, she is always busy, always keeping the park tidy, helping her staff, helping all the guests with Arcade issues, my God this young Lady deserves a promotion with a huge bonus, increase. Such a kind hearted warm person. Family's really loom forward to that when they vacation. I wanna say thank you to Hershey Park Lodge ,we will be back... much
Me, my daughter, and my niece stayed here for two nights. Rooms were great, staff was top of the line in the restaurants and during check in. The pools were great! They had a small arcade in it as well and you are welcomed with chocolate bars as well as compliment tickets to other attractions. The shuttle was also cool-although we did not use it, it was still a great option given at the property. I walked through this entire resort and it was phenomenal! Highly recommend!
Amazing lodge!! We were so impressed. Multiple really nice restaurants conveniently inside. We tried 4 of them and loved each one. Very family friendly. Bus always present to bring you to and from the park and chocolate world. We loved our room, very clean. Not a negative thing I can say about this resort. It is very large so can be far from the lobby but once you learn the best route with your map it's easy. The water park was impressive, warm and clear clean water! After reading many negative reviews I was anxious I made the wrong decision on this lodge but my family had the best time and we will be coming back each year now!
Save yourself some money and frustration and stay somewhere else. This was our first time at Hershey Lodge. The room was outdated and not what you would expect for $350+, but this didn’t concern us too much. However, we quickly learned that our bathtub was clogged and would not drain properly. Maintenance responded quickly to fix the clog, which was great, but left a ton of dirt the gunk that was stuck in the drain all over the tub and on the floor and towels. They left a huge clump of hair in the trash. We asked the front desk if someone from housekeeping could come and clean up and they kindly said someone would be there at 9 am. NO ONE EVER CAME. We called the front desk again that afternoon when we came back from our day of activities to find an uncleared bathroom. The front desk again assured us they would let housekeeping know and someone would come to clean the bathroom. AGAIN, no one showed up. At check out, I let the front desk know we had an unusable bathtub all weekend and they had no interest at all. Their only response was to nod and say, “is email ok for your receipt?” No apologies or even suggestion they would pass our feedback to management. If you’re willing to put up with a dirty bathroom or clogged bathtub and noise from an adjoining room you can hear every word your neighbor says and will be on their wake-up schedule, then maybe spend your $350+ a night to stay here. Otherwise, try any chain hotel in the area.
Visited family who were staying at the lodge. Impressive facility. Comfortable rooms and conference spaces. Very kid friendly. Pool and water park area is amazing. Arcade as well. Lots of weekend activities for children in the lodge. Definitely a destination resort with easy access to other Hershey area attractions such as the amusement park and Hershey World of Chocolate.
We paid a lot for our room here so expected alot . The property was beautiful , the set up was great and the decorations were all very intentional and fun. We were definitely disappointed in the rooms we stayed in as the amenities we requested weren’t readily available in the rooms , the staff weren’t very friendly or welcoming and treated you like you were an inconvenience to them, and the restaurants in the hotel were very expensive considering the quality of room we got. It was a very fun stay but was very over priced for the service and amenities we received
First time staying at the Hershey Lodge and it was a great experience. Having the shuttle to the park was a game changer. The hotel smelt like chocolate and they even give you a treat at check in. The room overall was clean and specialty cocoa infused toiletries were provided. If you’re going to visit Hershey I recommend the full experience by staying in the Lodge! They also have a small water park that the kids enjoyed.
Everything was wonderful! We spend 5 days here for a professional conference and we were very pleased. Revelry is AMAZING!!! Every employee we encountered was friendly and professional. Absolutely recommended.Rooms: 5/5
