Worst experience ever. When I picked up the car contract said full but it was below half a tank. I told the representative he said he will fix, did not receive the updated email that he said I would. The worst part was returning I gave the young lady the keys she said she has to inspect the car mind you no inspection is done at pick up. She was outside for some time then came in and said in front of the other customer I am charging you $400 for smoking in the vehicle! I was mortified. She told me you are a president circle member and I should know better, I couldn’t believe it! I eventually called the cops after pleading with them. The cops did not smell any smoke but she would not budge they suggested I get a report and call corporate! This experience was awful and very upsetting. I had a reservation for the Easter week at the location which I cancelled I would never go back!

So I arrived at this location after hours hoping they had a night drop box. They did not. So my plan was to leave the car parked there and have a friend drop the keys off for me in the am. As I’m waiting for my ride the manager pops up letting me know they were closed. I explain my dilemma and he without hesitation he says he will do the return for me right now! Keep in mind it’s like 6:30 and they had been closed since 5! I wish I would of gotten his name but Thank You So Much for accommodating me when you didn’t have to :

If I didn't have to I would not do business with them especially the location in Mount Vernon NY. The customer service is horrible. I've rented many vehicles and I've never seen a display of lack of professionalism like this in my life. When you rent at the airport you're treated so much better. They take you to the vehicle go over anything about the car damage, features the amount of gas in the etc. All I received was a point outside from behind the counter to a car parked outside which should not had been rented out. The vehicle was filthy. We are still in Covid the car wasn't vacuumed or cleaned prior to pick up. Several scratches and dents on the car. The worse thing was the food that dried up on the inside passenger door handle. I took pictures of the inside and outside of this vehicle to cover myself and immediately took it to the carwash because the mirrors and windows had some type of spray on them that impaired my vision. I took the car because it was almost closing time. They may have renovated the building but not the employees definitely need work in that area.

The staff is really good and accommodating. The location is a little tiny so book the rental before ypu get there or you might wait a while for a return. The computer system is a little slow needs to be updated. The app and online site needs maintenance because I could not modifying my drop off point after trying several times.

I cannot call and get this Location. Hertz does their best to not have you speak to a live person and keep trying to tell tou to use app. I keep tires change and the wheel tires have lug locks and I cannot get the location to ask where it is. I'll never ever use Hertz again

WORST HERTZ LOCATION I have ever been to in my life, even being their highest tier “presidents circle” member. When returning the vehicle, I parked directly out front and went inside and gave the employee my keys with a filled out rental return form date, time, mileage, fuel tank level, etc completed, and they said I could leave. I left and then four days later realized I had four $150 per day overage charges. Apparently after I left they “forgot” to close the rental. I finally called corporate to resolve this and they finally closed out the rental and I got the receipt emailed to me. I checked the receipt and noticed they charged me about $50 more than the original rental amount. They erroneously charged me for “fuel” because according to them I didn’t refuel the vehicle, when I in actually filled the tank to full right down the road right before returning the car. I finally got it resolved by submitting photos of the gas station charge on my credit card to hertz customer support. 1/10 DO NOT USE this hertz location to rent or drop off. In the past, at other Hertz locations if there were problems with the car, or the rental, the manager would give a slight discount for the inconvenience, but this was my worst ever experience and took several hours on the phone and texting support and I was given no credit or anything for all the trouble. Really discouraging.

Horrible experience. HERTZ customer service here is terrible if you could avoid this location I truly suggest you do. The staff is very uncouth and most importantly disrespectful. I was alarmed by the commitment of choice that was brought onto the customers by staff staff employing and making decisions on behalf of their own preferences as if they were entitled to tell you what you were going to spend your money on and leaving you with option-less choices that totally do not reflect those of your own. I am looking further into this matter to assure that this company is following the proper ethics and to make sure that the residents of the Bronx and Westchester are not stifled by discriminatory policies or practices. Please stay tuned as if this maybe the issue; I will hit ''em where it hertz!

Nice little office with helpful and friendly stuff. Lots of new neat cars to choose from. Would be nice if weekend drop off was part of the service, but I have never been disappointed by them.

We love this place, fast, friendly service, nice cars. Staff are amazing and accommodating. Best place to go.

I don’t usually made complaints but these place and the costumer services is the worst. They literally made me go to the location to let me know they don’t cars available for uber. Like come on how yall play with the time of the people I would’ve been nice if yall Call me to let me know before I spent 60$ on uber to get there. Lack of professionalism. Unacceptable! Thank you for nothing they couldn’t even try to call another of they locations or arrangements to make me feel better or at least I could understood they try to help. HORRIBLE
