Rode south from this point about 8 miles on May 19, 2023. - Asphalt trail about 8 feet wide - Shady - A few bumps from roots but not bad - Not many people on the trail - Mostly flat or a very slight grade - Not beautiful but worth seeing
A nice peaceful place to sit under gazebo have a picnic or go for a walk.
Great place to hike, bike, or just walk dogs. If you have dogs please clean up after them! Well groomed trail. Very easy to walk.
Good place to park and go for a good ride. Need to place trash can there, it be quite helpful.
My first ride started from Herzog Access Parking Lot on a Saturday morning. The Lot was clean and not very busy. The bike trail was well maintained and not overly crowded. Yes I crossed several roads during my ride but was cautious and had no difficulties. This is a very nice bike/hike trail with natural and man made features.
Here mid October, the colors are breathtaking and the weather is absolutely perfect! Snagged some crab apples on the way, which unlike a popular myth, are completely edible! Grapes were hanging off the vines as well.
We rode our bikes from Woodman to Sanborn Road. The trail was pretty well kept. The parking lot was not. There were large black garbage bags along the far spots closest to the woods with an old small tv by them. It isn't the parks fault that the community cannot keep things nice.
Nice quiet place mostly built specifically for bike trails, does have a small park, grassy area and a gazebo....nice overall
Always picking up trash, and most recently syringes in the flower beds...It's terribly littered all the time! This place needs a GARBAGE CAN because THERES NONE! I love to take my dog there as many people do as well as bike and walk the walking path. It's a beautiful Park but there's a lot of drugs in this area! A garbage can would do a world of Wonders! Other than that, it has a beautiful gazebo, the deer come out of the woods South of Gazebo once in awhile and really is a great family place during the Day!
Such a peaceful place to unwind and enjoy nature. We are blessed to have this bike trail
