This is my go to park for a quick view of some water. It doesn't have a big lake or anything but the quiet view of the man made lake and ducks gives for a great meditation spot. They also have a small dock you can walk out on to fish or just get a closer look of the fish.
I really like this park. It doesn't quite get the love it deserves. But for the location and size, it's really great. You can fish, do archery, go for a jog, walk your dog. They have a few playgrounds. Tennis courts. All in all a great community asset.
Beautiful park, I love to walk the trail around the pond and admire/take pictures of the beautiful waterfowl I see along the way. They also have picnic shelters and restroom facilities in the respective areas as well. 2 playgrounds. Tennis courts, soccer field, they have it all!
I have going to Hester Park almost regularly now and it's a really great place to unwind from the work and technology around it, it has a great trail which I enjoy for running, a nice scenery and a walkable distance from my home, for people young and old i recommend coming here for either exercise or if you just want to get out of the house and enjoy nature it really does feel you're enclosed in this beautiful area. I do wish there was a lot more to do, i have noticed they are building a place for archery which seems fun and I cannot wait for it to open to try it out but the calming nature atmosphere is enough for me to calm down and enjoy the park for what it is worth.
Hester park is good to fish the problem is that I don’t think theres barely largemouth in there like me and my buddy fished this pond and we catch the same fish every single time idk why maybe there like at least 20 largemouth fish in there like actually. but I still like it I just hope that the workers see this review and maybe try to stock the pond with more largemouth.
Great park! They have a little play area with monkey bars swings for the bigger kids & babies, plenty of things for your young one to climb on, plenty of picnic areas, lots of water, beautiful ducks, geese & walking trails. Very Nice park!
I love it here! It is never overcrowded. It's a great place to walk, relax in your car, cookout. Whatever, you name it. There are plenty of picnic spaces, gazebos, restrooms and playgrounds at both ends, tennis courts, volleyball courts. If you have your fishing license, you can fish. I go here to walk. I also go here to just sit in my car and think. If you've never been, you should.
Nice and quiet place for family picnic. Fishing, children playground and bbq spots, shaddy areas are the best. I loved how it was really windy by the trees which helped kill the heat. Highly reccommended.
Very nice area with a good amount of water to sight see. Lots of your typical park life like squirrels and such. I am trying to break into the writing community, any help from my readers will be greatly appreciated.
Very pretty park. Public restrooms that were clean, emergency alert pole near playground. Nice docks and lots of them. Lots of playgrounds too. Even a workout playground.
