The Forest Preserve District of Will County's Hickory Creek Junction provides parking areas, a shelter, playground, latrine, water pump, and access to the 3.03-mile, paved west branch of the Hickory Creek Bikeway and the 21-mile, paved Old Plank Road Trail, both ideal for bicycling, hiking/running, in-line skating, and, in the winter, snowshoeing and cross-country skiing.
