The Mission of Hidden Brook Counseling Services is to provide Quality, Compassionate, and Affordable Behavioral Healthcare.
Hidden Brook Counseling began in 1965 in Petoskey, Michigan and continued until the death of the founder, Harold Kohn, in 1975. The counseling center was resurrected again in 1999 in response to a community need for a counseling service that was more personable and individualized than the larger, publicly funded agencies. Our mission is to provide quality services at affordable rates to Northern Michigan residents.
Hidden Brook Counseling Services employs behavioral health therapists that are specifically trained to provide services offered. All therapists have a minimum of a Master's degree in counseling, psychology, social work or equivalent. Each is licensed and/or certified in his / her specific service area with multiple years of counseling experience.
