Very friendly place, mostly seasonal campers - this campground is open year round and a lot of people live there. Bathrooms newly renovated, playground for kids and a lake, although the water was too low to swim during our visit.
This is my happy place love it the people are great to be around and have fun

After a year I have to say there has been a few good improvement. The bathrooms are new and improved. The laundry some better. Dennis and Andy are friendly, and attentive to most needs in the camp ground. Thank You both and your wife’s for all you do. Now on with the winter weather and looking forward to the Spring 2020
What an amazing place too enjoy time with family and make tons of amazing new friends...the owners are amazing and so are their wives!!! Best place too camp everrrrr!!
The campground is now under new management. 3/24/17 Let me be the first to welcome new campers and ensure you the current leadership will help ensure that your camping experience is outstanding. We realize a positive camping experience is what you deserve and we will strive to improve so that can be possible. I am truly sorry for past bad experiences due to poor management and ask that you give us chance to earn your business in the future. Camping should be safe and fun. I am from Chicago area and camped in Swanton at another campground for years. This year, they "lost" my reservation made last October. I'm excited for the long Memorial Day weekend to check out the new digs. Thanks for contacting me on the cancellation!
