The owners were friendly and even sold us a pie after hours, which I greatly appreciated. We did come because of the pie/ cafe, so I was bummed that they close the bakery/ cafe at 2:30pm on Friday and are not open on Saturday, but that's my fault, I should have checked. Maybe call ahead to see if they'll be open? Unfortunately, while they do have pull-through sites that are large enough to fit big rigs we're a 45ft class A, towing an F150, it's NOT big rig friendly, so I wouldn't use this as a quick overnight site again. LOTS of trees that, while lovely, are not trimmed to accommodate larger RVs. : No lights, so it was harrowing to park in the dark while trying to avoid the trees. We also almost missed the entrance despite using Google maps sign isn't visible in the dark. Lots of road noise, even with fans and white noise running. I really wanted to love this place... If you're in a small rig and will arrive during daylight hours, it's probably awesome!!
A very pleasant overnight stay. Hook-ups we’re good, site was level, staff was friendly, and park was quiet. This was an “on the road stop” only here to eat and sleep.
Seriously best pie EVER. I swear it’s made completely from scratch - doesn’t have that gross “too much sugar” filling, perfect crust, etc. I’ve never gone so out of my way for dessert. I know this is an RV spot and not a bakery but still. If you have respect for baked goods, stop here.
Excellent place. excellent owners Dave n Brenda, John also huge help. other people camping there sociable. BLM all around that area great if you have an off highway vehicle
We have stayed here 2 times now. It's a great lil spot to stop after we've made a late night escape from the east side of the valley on our way to Vegas. We only stopped for lunch this time. They make a great homemade apple pie.
Some of the best pie and food you can have! Taco Tuesday is very good!
Staying here for the winter, love it. Owners Brenda and David are absolutely wonderful, very accommodating and friendly. RV park is very nice with trees, bushes and gardens. Very nice gift shop.Plan to come here next year, too. Great pies in the cafe, too.
Great park that is easy to get in. We got to Wikieup late and decided to call it a night. Park staff were still there and happily greeted us even though we did not have a reservation. Pull-thru site had little bit of highway noise but no more than was expected. Site had 20-30-50 amp service available. I made the mistake of not getting a pie. Will stay again given the chance.
Awesome park! David & Brenda are wonderful! We hate to leave! David is always working on something but never too busy for a conversation or to offer help! Brenda is kept hopping in the restaraunt/store. Her cooking is outstanding! If you can stop in for Taco Tuesday and don't forget her homemade pie!
This park is a work in progress. Walking around the place you can see the features that make this park special, and will someday make it great. There are statues and figures out front, including several plaques giving some legend to the figures. Throughout the park are other gems. Three walkways over foot bridges with special places at the end of each. Again, with plaques telling a story with each. A large fire pit, with a stage or dance floor tells of good times, music, and fun. A special treat when we visited was the hummingbird moths in the garden. These were a delight to see, but we had to use Google to find out what they were. You may have better luck identifying the cute creatures There is a little restaurant on site; You don't have to cook after a long day. Also, there is a little store with a wide variety of goods ice cream on a hot day?. Best of all, the rates were really reasonable, and the people were really friendly. Try to get a space in the back if you can. There is road noise from the highway the goes all night.
