Hidden Valley RV Park

Being close to the border was why I chose this place. We are in town for dental appointments in Acuna, Mexico. It was, at one time, a mobile home park. It appears there are several travel trailers taking advantage of long term rates. We are here for a week. Weekly rate is daily rate times 6. Thankfully, most sites are shaded from the brutal West Texas sun.

Older RV Park but is not bad. Plenty of empty spots. Our spot was nice and shady. Peggy and Fred are great hosts. She let us pick our spot. Location is good since it is away from any major highways. Quiet except for barking dog. No kids.Service: 5/5

I love driving in and seeing the barn and farm house. Fred and Peggy are such wonderful hosts. This is definitely a no nonsense kind of place.

Very nice and peaceful park. Peggy the manager always went up and beyond. She was very friendly and always on top of any situation that came along. I definitely plan on returning as long as Peggy runs the show!

Truly a hidden gem. This campground is very relaxing. It's tucked away at the end of a quiet street under mature trees.

This was a mobile home park that was converted to a RV Park. No bath house or showers are available but it is a great stop over. They do have laundry area with washers and dryers are there to use with a reasonable fee

We had a pleasant couple of days here last week. This used to be a mobile home park, so the sites are extra long, not level, with electric on one side and water/ sewer on the other. The best parts of the park are the quiet, secluded location and the Wash House. It's more of a community room, homey and comfortable with books, DVD's to borrow, brochures from local attractions, a nice place to relax. I could imagine a long stay here if you are locate near Del Rio for a time.

We just finished a two week stay at Hidden Valley RV park. Large spacious sites with tons of mature trees and SHADE!! The laundry room isn't usually something one reviews, but OH WOW! it is like a huge living room, with TV, WIFI and 8 of the CLEANEST washers and dryers We stopped here for access to the border, I had dental work done in Acuna. This location was quiet, safe, close to town and rates were great. It is our new go to when we come to Del Rio! If you stop here, please say hi to Janet owner and Peggy helper. I'm staying at Hidden Valley full time and I love it! Janet and her husband are the best owners. Super friendly and always there if you need them. It's a pleasure to stay here. There is no loud ruckus and it's quiet peaceful. I have a family living next to me and the children are a dream. I love the fact that unruly children are not tolerated. So I don't have to deal with kids screaming and invading my area. My Father also stays here next lot over and he just loves it here too!

We didn't plan to stay here but our truck broke down in Del Rio and we needed a place to wait out repairs. I'm so happy we discovered this place! The owner was very kind and it just seemed like a pleasant community whether you were there for a couple nights or full time. There is a lot of shade and the sites are spacious.
