Amazing place!!! Quiet, relaxing, and friendly people all around! Bernard and Theresa were helpful from the moment we pulled in until we left. Ice machine, laundry facilities, and community BBQ grills all on site. The private beach access spoiled us big time! Each day we would walk to the beach and could easily run back to the camper if needed. Hands down the best part of our family vacation!!! Cannot say enough about the Playa Del Rio. They have it figured out! Looking forward to our next trip down there!
Our stay was top notch from the moment we entered the park. Smiley had met us and escorted us to our spot. He directed us in and was more than willing to help set up. Everyone is super friendly and makes you feel at home. Very safe! We stayed in two different spots during our stay. We had booked a week and was in a spot right where you enter the little park. Straight across from laundry. Great spot. We enjoyed it so much we extended our stay and moved to a water view sight right next to the pavilion. The view was gorgeous but there is a lot of evening noise. Everyone congregates in the pavilion in the evening. There is an outdoor kitchen with grills you are welcome to use. At 8 on weeknight and 10 on weekends quite time does take over and everyone disperses. Walking distance to places to eat including FloraBama. I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It is a very nice and heavenly little park!!!
The nicest RV resort around, the place is very well take of, the atmosphere is shark, welcoming and wonderful, it feels like home, the view and the outdoor area is enjoyable, the people is amazing, we made friends and made us feel like family, if you’re looking for a place to relax, have fun, enjoy the river and the beach, this is it! We definitely come back again Thank you the awesome time!
Absolutely a magical place for the RV community, a beautiful music venue on site, peirs to fish off of on the lagoon side, and gulf of Mexico access. The nicest place we have ever stayed, with an amazing support staff, owner lives nearby, everyone we have meet has been incredibly nice and helpful, FloraBama is within walking distance to this jewel of a resort.
Great location, small and quiet resort park. Close to everything. Dedicated beach walkover. Beautiful dock sitting area on the river side with boat slips. Very clean level sites with all hook ups. Staff/Camp Hosts were very helpful and friendly. I would definitely stay here again.
Beautiful campsite with the friendly staff. Well maintained and quite but close to all the activities and stores you would need. We took our boat and enjoyed the docks. Also, loved that they had ice on site you could buy. That sounds insignificant but on 4th of July ice was hard to come by.
What a fantastic location and community! So sad we only stayed 2 nights because everything and everyone was perfect. The private beach war clean and quiet and the campground was well kept. Sites were a touch on the small side but the resort was so beautiful we spent very little time at our site. Camp hosts were super helpful, both on arrival and departure, but also as we walked around the resort and beach. They greeted us by name every time we passed, helped us hook up the morning of our departure and even provided a nut when we realized our spare tire mount was loose! Our stay wasn't long enough, but we'll definitely be back!
My family and I had a great experience! We were only there for a couple of nights, but will definitely stay longer next time. The resort was clean, well taken off, and our hosts were very helpful and friendly. Can’t wait to go back! K. Miller
Quaint RV resort with a private beach and docks + lounge. Our coach is nearly 36' long plus our tow rig is 22'... with our hitch we're right at 60' and it's a bit tight... BUT you can't beat the location or weather. Sad we're leaving tomorrow morning and will definitely be back.
We stayed here while visiting family. Beautiful and very well kept. Had a band on Friday and Saturday. The camp Hosts Teresa and Bernard were there to meet us and help us set up. Bernard went above and beyond to help us. No shade at site but we were at the beach right? They had a pavilion on the far end on the intercostal waterway. Beach access is right across the street. Everyone was great. We will go back.
