Wonderful, quiet, peaceful family-owned CG. We only stayed one night, but we really enjoyed it, and we would love to return. The family who owns the CG is extremely nice. The grounds are extensive and beautiful, well-kept up and everything is very clean. A small pond, beautiful tent sites, wooded and shaded. OH – the price! Our site was $35 !! Where have you ever seen a price like that for a beautiful CG?! The drawback: no internet, no swimming, very poor phone reception. If there were internet and good phone reception, I’d give this CG 5 stars. For now, it’s 4 stars, but unplug and you’ll enjoy it!
So beautiful and relaxing, the bathrooms are are so clean! The owners are absolutely awesome very kind , make us feel o welcome!! Can’t wait till it opens!!!
We have been camping at Hideaway for, probably, a decade. If you are looking for a safe, clean, quiet, family-feeling campground close to the hundreds of breathtaking sites and outdoor recreational activities of the Laurel Highlands, look no further. With either full RV hookup sites or field or woods tent camping sites available, there is truly something for everyone, and the affordable pricing, clean, hot showers and serene setting will have you coming back again and again. Our home away from home.
A very relaxing place. Bob is a very nice man. The clean shows up everywhere. Unbelievable clean place. I might be a permanent camper here.

This place was very beautiful and quiet. It is the perfect place for a relaxing weekend. We took our pop up camper, we were perfectly spaced out from others. My husband and I walked around and looked at the open tent sites and they were so nice, we would consider doing that too! The shower house/bathroom was extremely clean and nice. All in all it was a great experience for us and we will definitely be back!
The place was great it was only our second time using our Motor home and we couldn’t have ask for anyplace better. There’s great trails to walk a nice fishing pond and they are Pet friendly our dogs loved it. I would definitely go there again.
I can't say enough about how wonderful this park is!! The owners are so friendly and accommodating - even checking on us within a few hours of us arriving to make sure we didn't need anything. The park is small and about 1/2 the campers are seasonal but they are all well maintained. The park was very clean and so quiet! There is a nice short hiking trail, a pond to fish in and plenty of space to allow our pups to run and play. My only complaint was the lack of a solid cell signal We have verizon and we had zero signal. But that's not the park's fault as they are looking to add WiFi next year. I would definitely stay here again!!
We loved this quiet little campground. Only 20 minutes from Ohiopyle. We tented in the field, which still had plenty of shade and trees. Sites were spaced far enough apart for privacy. Wooded sites were really nice , situated along a creek but they were full when we arrived with no reservation. Bathrooms and showers were clean and sufficient for our needs. Nice people. Friendly, family run campground.
Such a nice little gem I almost don't want to write a review to tell people about it - but they deserve all the business they can get! From pull off of the road, to checking in to the campground itself there isn't anything I"d change about Hideaway. It's well planned out, it has things to do, the kind of people who show up are friendly and nice and it's clean... there was no litter anywhere. Not a single cigarette butt in the gravel. It's clear that the owner loves and respects the business and the land it is on and wants people to enjoy it and have a relaxing time. They bring firewood to you, they keep the bathrooms spotless, they will even help you park and set up your camper if you have issues! It was our first time this year and I know we will be back again - maybe even this year!
