We love it here. We have two of our kids in the classes and the coaches have been so great and the facility is awesome! Also the front staff are the warmest and friendliest front staff I’ve encountered in a gymnastics/dance gym setting.
They are great! Fun, nice, hard working staff/coaches. Kept GREAT contact with us informing which classes were available until we found a schedule for both of our girls to be in the same gymnastics class.
They just moved locations and the new gym is super nice! Way more space with more class availability! The coaches are awesome and work hard to help them get their tumbling and gymnastics skills as well as develop important habits and skills. Their prices are much better than other gyms we've looked at. We love High Altitude!
They are extremely flexible with schedules and even offer the chance to make-up classes when missed. My kids enjoy their coaches and seem to really have a good time. I’m not 100% sure skills wise how effective the classes are. It’s almost been a year and I’ve not seen tons of results. It’s also a bit pricey. Overall the positives outweigh the negatives.
I love this place! My two girls were both going and in 6 months my oldest moved from tiny tumblers to a team bless their hearts for putting up with her she’s hard headed but coach Ashley does amazing, when my daughter was teaching herself how to do a back flip I thought she’d get hurt so couch Ashley stepped up and did a class to teacher her how NOT to get hurt lol!!! And one of the owners Connie is so sweet every time I’m in there, really the whole staff is just amazing!!! I was so sad that my youngest wanted to stop gymnastics and do dance....I miss the easy breezy bliss of high altitude, I don’t feel like high altitude is out for my money I feel like they are there to help my kids advance! So if I can ever convince my youngest child to go back to this wonderful place I will!
Started bringing my daughter here for cheer and she absolutely loves it. The coaches are wonderful and they always try to change things up to make it fun. Kadence looks forward to coming every single week and she hates it when we are off for the holidays. I would recommend to anyone!
During the week my kids ask all the time if it is gymnastics day. They love their classes and their teachers. Very accommodating on classes and times. Many different classes to fit you needs and desires. Class sizes are also small to make sure each student gets adequate time.
Excellant staff, we have been to most of the gymnastics in utah and salt lake County and these guys are the nicest while also teach correct form. The teachers are great with the kids and don't ouch them till they get injured like other places we have been too. Love this place and decent price. The only downside is the 3 to 4 year old class doesn't have enough for my already gymnastic oriented preschooler. Just basic movement and tumbling
This will probably be long so bare with me here. Until recently I had all three of my kids in gymnastics at high altitude. My son went once a week and my daughters both went twice a week. We were enrolled in the gym a little over a year I believe. Firstly, I brought my eight year old here because of the name: High Altitude Tumbling AND cheer. But apparently they don’t teach cheer any more soooooo....? With that being her ultimate goal it was kind of a waste. All three of my kids did the same routine almost every single day, never learning anything new or advancing their skills or making it into a higher skilled class. Get this, three months ago we switched gyms to a gym with cheer and my eight year old within three months went from barely knowing a kart-wheel to being able to do a kart-wheel, round off, backwards bend, backwards bend kickover and the list goes on and on and she’ll be trying out for a team placement here shortly. It amazing what changing gyms has done for her. Also the new gym is much cheaper and they don’t text you if your tuition is a little overdue and bug you about it right before Christmas, I was so turned off by that. I always paid tuition with my second check of the month so it was usually a little late but I had never been harassed about it before. Mind you it was never months late either, it was always caught up every month. My other two kids were still at high altitude because it’s closer to home and after that I decided to have them switch gyms too. Now, I gave two stars because the teachers were all kind and they have soooo many flexible options so they can work around a lot of schedules. They also have a ton of seating downstairs for parents which is fantastic. Basically, if you’re looking for your kids to do something active once or twice a week this is a great but expensive option but if you realllllly want your kids building some serious gymnastics skills, I’d look elsewhere.
