I have nothing but positive experiences with this community from the management to the maintenance team, if there was an issue within my unit I put work order in and it usually taken care of in 1-2 business days. The office team is highly responsive to any messages sent. There has been a lot of investment in the property overall including new pavement, landscaping and more. The community is safe, neighbors are decent and overall a good place to consider home.
BEWARE! They will scam you and charge you for non-existing damages. I left my unit immaculate & took photos of everything. Management comes back with a $500 charge for “damages” that don’t exist. I sent them a dispute email and they never responded. Then I get a hit to my credit that It was sent to collections so now I have to handle it with them. Good thing I have proof & know the laws! Absolutely horrible company that will try to take any money they can from you. DO NOT RENT HERE! or with any greystar management
Horrible customer service and unprofessional management.. I applied for apartment in October and have been waiting for application fee to be refunded .. I have sent multiple emails .. phone calls , I’ve been very patient and understanding of the matter and yet still have not yet received my refund
Best place to live hands down. Very affordable and what a great location. Close to my work, family, and friends! All my favorite food places are in walking distance. Mill Ave is also just a few blocks away! The office staff is always so kind. They always make it easy to pay my rent. I feel like they actually care about my concerns when I do have them. Maintenance staff is quick to help and gets the job done the first time. The community amenities are always clean. I hope to stay at Highland for many years to come. Great job Highland Park staff!
Great apartments! Clean and well taken care of. The staff is very helpful though it’s clear as of late they have been experiencing some labor shortages along with the rest of the world so things take a little longer than what i had gotten used to but it still got done. Was an amazing place for me and my pup. I have had a hard time finding a truly pet friendly place and both Finley and I loved it here, the bark park was an added bonus as well! Noise was as to be expected for an apartment building, very comparable to the other apartments i have lived in. Staff are always friendly and happy to help, which is huge for me as it is not always a standard. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking in the area.
I wouldn't not recommend anyone to move here. There is poor communication from the managment to the tenants. Repairs take forever, and they value repairing an unoccupied apartment over those who live there. And they do not notify when those repairs will be taking place. The apartments themselves are okay, but the walls and ceilings are thin so you can hear a lot of noise from the neighbors and also some of the road noise from baseline. The parking lot design makes it so you can hear cars driving around at night regardless of which unit you are in. It was a lot better before greystar took over, and I think this place is being taken over by someone else. Hopefully they will be better. edit: response is inaccurate I have issues from years ago yet the repaired 2 unoccupied units next to me. They are well aware of my still outstanding request. They refused to fix it until after I moved out and continue their poor communication and unprofessionalism.
I feel the property and staff changes are improving my experience at Highland Park. Our new pool furniture looks beautiful! It’s so easy to get to work from here for me too. It’s been a great choice.
I just recently moved to Highland Park and I love it so far! My unit was recently renovated and the upgrades are amazing. My one bedroom unit is huge and has more than enough storage space. The management team made my move-in process super smooth, which was greatly appreciated. The complex is really quiet and clean, which was really important to me. One thing I really appreciated was the space outside of the units, making moving in a breeze. I had a few maintenance things that needed to be taken care of when I moved in and they have all been addressed super quickly. I'm really looking forward to using more of the complex amenities. Overall I'm SO happy with my choice to live at Highland Park.
I toured this place and am a current resident. It's very family friendly and the staff at the office have been very helpful and friendly since I moved in too. My leasing agent Veronica was wonderful, she went above and beyond!
I love the staff here. They make my needs a priority. I also appreciate the design touches in my upgraded unit. It looks like luxury due to the chic fixtures and color palette chosen. I just wish the walls weren’t so thin. I have really busy neighbors and I can hear every footstep and sliding door opening, as well as the running around of their dog.
