Awesome place! They have all different speeds from 35 mph to 70 or 75 mph, so it's great for a large range of ages. They also have some options for baseball vs softball. Cages 9-10 are the slower ones 35mph. Each token costs $1.25 and gets you 14 pitches. They also have deals available I got 20 tokens for $20. They also sell a few snacks inside, like chips, ice cream, candy. They take card as well in case that's important to anyone. Great place for batting practice, we will be back for sure!
This is a great simple place to get some bp in. The staff is helpful, the facility is clean. They have helmets and bats for guest. In a very nice park. You can go to the wave pool then take batting practice before feeding the ducks at the park.
Been here with the kids 4-5 times. 35 minutes each direction. 2 times they were closed for some random obscure holiday. Today, they're closed because of Cezar Chavez Day. The facility is in good condition and the staff is friendly.
Nice batting cages and friendly staff. I took my 5 year old grandson here so he could hit some balls. The slowest hardball was a little fast for him but he had a blast hitting the softballs. $1.25 for about a dozen balls. Great time and we'll be back.
This place is could get 5 stars if they were actually open when they say they’re open. Many times I’ve called and their auto answering systems states the hours, I show up and they’re closed. This is on weeknights when they’re supposed to be open until 9.
My absolute favorite batting cage in Arizona thus far. I love that it's easy to locate, Access, and easy parking. The staff is always friendly and fair prices. Gave 4 stars just because the hours are not always the most convenient and sometimes when they are closed for some unknown reason online will not be updated, you can call but no answer so no point.
Had not been since I was a kid. Place has not changed a bit but everything still was kept up nice clean and in working order. We tried 4 different cages and no problems with any of them. It was Sat the park was full but surprisingly the cages were quiet so it was nice to not have to wait. The guy behind the counter was friendly, informative and got us right to out to using the cages. No hassle, another plus. It also is a reasonable price for fun entertainment or even if you need to use it for sports practice. $1.25 per token and it gets you 14 pitches not bad. Go with the punch card $20.00 for $20 tokens if you plan to ever come back. I did five rounds and I can tell the next day that I have not used those muscle groups in awhile so beware. To be able to walk the lake drop in at $1.25 hit some baseball/softballs and be on our merry way. Great way to spend a sat afternoon doing something out the norm while walking the parks. Will be putting this on the monthly rotation.
Great place IF you want to hit some dingers
Hadn't been here in a while since I moved out of Tempe a few years ago. They've definitely improved the facility quite a bit. Now you're able to select pitch speed and location up and down in the zone. The baseball cages have three speeds to choose from. The cage we were in also did slow pitch softball. It's also pretty affordable for the quality you get. Highly recommend these cages.
Great place to get some batting practice in for baseball and soft ball.. many speeds to choose from. Take shoes only. No sandles open toed shoes allowed to bat in cages. Very inexpensive as well
