I've been up here several times before I finally got my own washer and dryer again. It's not too bad, they have modern and powerful washers and dryers of several sizes and they do an excellent job of cleaning your laundry. There's not much to do while waiting do bring your smartphone, tablet, book, or magazine to pass the time.
We had to change dryers 3 times after putting a lot of money into them today so we were there longer than we should have been but usually they are fine but not today was very disappointed
Great laundromat. Generally clean. Has pop and snack machines, places to sit. You can watch tv, coin machines always work, and there are plenty of baskets to help you do your laundry. It can be hard to get ahold of management there if you have a machine problem. There are cameras everywhere so even though it's not in the best area in des moines, it feels safe and comfortable to do laundry there. It is on a busy street so it can be tricky and time consuming getting in and out of there. Overall, good laundromat.
3 years ago I gave this place a 5 but as time passed this place has gone to the dumps. Machines that don't work and take way more coins then what the price says broken vending machine dryers you have to play duck duck goose with till you find one that works exposed wiring and insolation. Never coming back.
staff members look like they roll out of bed and then into work especially the bigger lady covered in tattoos
Very sad to see a long time luandrymat in old highland Park go down hill very fast there is no working phone number nor is there a person that works there hafe of there washer/dryers don't . work eat money lost $5.00 broken belts to washer not turning or once you add money or soap the money won't go into machine no restrooms but they have video cameras everywhere but can't fix money making place hope the town or owners wake up . 4.25+ to 7.50 a load dryers .25+ 6-7 mins and don't dry
This place definitely needs to be updated and a lot of machines are out of order. It's close to me and frankly it's a place to do laundry. Sadly there isn't any public bathrooms here. Everybody has an opinion and there's other laundry mats so do whatever you choose.
Freezing cold!!! No bathroom. Hardly any place to sit down. Internet doesn't work. Terrible place. The owner should be ashamed. People were shivering inside.i am probably going get frost bite waiting for my clothes to dry.
Great place to do laundry. Reasonable prices but my only complaint is the lack of coin machine
