It had been awhile since going to the store and had forgotten how impressive it is. Sydney who helped us, was wonderful. He answered all our questions, gave us sound advice and suggestions, demonstrated and allowed us to try the items we were looking for, absolutely no pressure or rush. Can't wait to go back.
Spent over an hour here today going through the store slowly. Had been before but a while ago, and been ordering from their catalog for a long time. All the staff were knowledgeable and friendly. Made a big pile of purchases and they shipped them all to my house for me. Worth a visit!!
Excellent service. I purchased a few bandsaw blades from Highland woodworking a few years ago. Their resaw blades are great. Last week I purchased a few more plus I purchased one of the carbide tipped resaw blades. Ordered on the 9th of October, received shipping confirmation on the 10th and had received it by the 14th of October. That is shipped from USA to Australia. I just wish shipping was cheaper but for that turnaround I can't complain. The carbide blade is brilliant!
I found the saw blade I was looking for cheaper than any place else I'd shopped. It's exactly what I needed and they shipped it fast! Plus they answered all of questions really quickly as well. Good prices, good communication, fast shipping, so what are you waiting for? Go ahead and place an order.
They sell 'fantasy' tools, for old retired guys to spend their life savings on. After you purchase $25,000 of tools you can build a jewelry box or a candle holder or some sort of small useless cabinet. The romantic days of woodworking are long gone.
As a total woodworking newbie, walking into a speciality store like this one could be very very intimidating. The staff has made the environment as welcoming as possible and kept it very professional. All my questions were answered to details and I’ve learned a lot from the visits. I’m very glad I picked up my Sawstop with the help from the professional staff member. This place will definitely be my woodworking store. Great people. Highly recommended.
Great store for woodworking needs. I've shopped and taken classes here for years. Very fortunate to have this a short drive from my home.
No matter your skill level, this is by and far the best woodworking supply shop in Atlanta. The staff is super friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful and they truly seem to have every woodworking tool imaginable. My only complaint is that I always end up buying more "toys" than intended, but that's more of a personal problem...
Highland did an outstanding on my kitchen and hallway floors. The kitchen had a manufactured finish, but they were able to refinish the floor and make it look exceptional. Also, they had to make custom thresholds for my marble entry that had been missing since the floor was installed - problem solved! Best of all Daniel, the owner, came to house to assure the work was being completed correctly! Great work and I highly recommend them!!
They seem to have everything you’d need to work some wood. I’m not a woodworker but it was interesting to look around.
