I accompanied my mom for her mammogram. We entered the parking garage from the 11th Street entrance. The garage was somewhat clean but has several large spider webs. The spiders were very scary looking. As you can see from the pictures, the place is nice, clean, and has high backed chairs - good for snoozing. Her appointment was at 1 p.m., and it took an hour. She also got an ultrasound as well. She said they were thorough, but the young tech didn't know what to do. They had to do the mammogram 2x's. The rest rooms were clean but needed maintenance. The stalls didn't have anywhere to hang your purse. And some of the toilet seats were broken. It is an old hospital servicing Tulsa for over 40 years. The building has been updated, but some parts need further work. It's not a bad place. It just needs some attention.
Hello, Glenda Thompson, here Room 4H11, I would like to leave a 5 star but, I can't you see I had to wait 3 days for an MRI. A blood clot might have been in my head it could have been too late to find it. My family and myself are very disappointed. The best thing that came out of this I had fantastic nurses and techs. Your nursing and tech staff is a blessing. They went above and beyond. I am 73 years young been in the hospital several times before but, the nurses and techs that took care of me were the best I never had. Thank you, Nurses and Techs on 4H I will always remember! The Best. I suggest you give them a raise.
This is the first time at this hospital. My son was there for 16 nights, and one day I was there the whole time with him. We had a great nurses, great techs and great doctors. Every time they came in they always asked my son how he was doing. Everyone on the burn unit was amazing. Thank you It takes someone special to do your job
UPDATE: It's the one year anniversary 8/22/2022-8/22/2023 of when I was wrongfully bullied by two employees of Hillcrest Main while standing in line for Starbucks. I reported this incident on here and was eventually contacted by Hillcrest Main security. The man told me the employees would eventually be identified and talked to about this. Well, how am I supposed to know that or trust that? There's only one camera in that main entrance and it's not close to that Starbucks. As the victim, I don't think it's fair to be left in the dark about whether they were held accountable or not. I completely deserve an in-person apology from both of those employees. What do you think, Hillcrest? I know you could make this happen if you truly care about your customers.
Everyone was absolutely knowledgeable the care was superb. An RN that was on duty & discharged him to the car went above & beyond. I cannot remember her name. She had been assigned tech duties that day. Her personality was so nice. She even said that day every once in a while that assignment she would have PR than other days. If we could have more RNs like that. Stay in ICU was also wonderful care. The ER people also gave good care.
The whole staff treated me very well! My surgeon Dr Dare was great,my nurses Paige and Amos were great. Even the techs and housekeeping were very nice. I was in alot of pain and they all cared and tried to help all they could, they all had compassion when I really needed it, Thank You!!!
My Father-in-law stayed several days at Hillcrest. He started in the ER very cold and had to request blankets then went to CCU?, then surgery and then the 2nd floor. My main complaint is you are missing the little touches. He was pretty dependent and when we would visit even if it was the pm he hadn't brushed his teeth, his room was often cluttered and he had very little assist with his meals and if weekend he would lay in the bed most of the time. Each and every patient should be coddled and helped and things should be neat and clean. There were some outstanding staff but several that seemed to be bothered when requesting anything.
The care of the emergency room team, the surgeons, the critical care team, the ICU nurses and staff and the entire Kaiser Rehab therapists and staffs has been excellent. We could not ask for better care during and after my husbands stroke. We appreciate their compassion, hard work and long hours as they do so much for others. Our story has a very happy ending. Thank you Hillcrest and Kaiser Rehab Center!
My wife had emergency with pregnancy. Her English is not good but Sherry Baños helped translate for her in the Emergency Dept and in Labor & Delivery until I could get there. My wife said she was very knowledgeable, informed, and caring. Thank you Sherry for making my wife comfortable with our first pregnancy.
From Jan Bonino. The Breast Clinic at Hillcrest was wonderful with my biopsy! My anxiety was high and the girls assured me Dr. Straight was awesome and that he did everything to assure the patients’ comfort. They were right! He explained things, gave me plenty of local anesthesic and I only felt the first little needle prick. NOTHING after that! I was so pleasantly surprised!! Thank you Dr. Straight n staff!!
