My family's experience with this cemetery was nothing less then intrusive, callous, and traumatic. As we sat next to the open grave of my grandparents, crying, grieving, and talking, the cemetery keepers decided to drive the backhoe filled with dirt right up to us sitting there. Then a can pulled up and 2 people got out and stood there with shovels watching us cry. The funeral director told us to take as much time as we wanted yet we felt rushed and disrespected. It was disrespectful to me and my family and it was disrespectful to my grandparents. The memory of burying my grandparents will always be marred with the image to people standing there watching us as we grieve...shovel in hand. Appalling and unprofessional.
Beautiful Cemetery on the hill. The staff is so kind and caring. I highly recommend Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
