The ceremony for my father this week was honorable and heart-stirring. The VFW Post 5127 Auxiliary added a tribute I will never forget. The amount of respect shown by everyone involved was comforting and reassuring. Thank you so much for giving my Dad the memorial service he deserved for his service.
They are currently remodeling the entrance. There are portable restrooms at both the front and back. They are handicapped accessible and very clean. Having more than one restroom is nice for those who want to spend time with their loved ones Plenty of free parking throughout. The grounds are well kept year round. . Each veteran is given a full military service including a 21 gun salute. In my case they spent shells were returned to me in a special pouch. Because the graves are close to each other families cannot watch the actual burial service for safety reasons. The area is surrounded by trees and a breeze often is felt. It is a very peaceful place. There are waste containers at each section, as well as a container where you can take a flower holder to put flowers in. That is helpful as the ground if often hard to place flowers in. There is a welcome center near the front entrance.
Very somber well kept cemetery best known as Little Arlington they are very respectful of our Veterans and there families. Visually beautiful for a cemetery quiet and peaceful the chime from the clock bells are a nice touch. If you take the time to walk the memorial trail easy walk the monuments from all the groups will bring a tear to your eye and hats off to all the good people and organizations that paid for these beautiful monuments
They do a great job of making it look beautiful, I'm glad my Father is there.
It was a wonderful honorable ceremony for my father. Thank you all so much for all that were in attendance and also to all the men and woman who have served and continue to serve our Nation. With the deepest gratitude.
A stunning location with a proud tradition. Beautifully landscaped and maintained. Lots of family here. Glad to see that this final resting place is cared for so well.
The grounds are always well kept. They are currently doing a great deal of construction/expansion. The staff has maintained the grounds beautifully and are respectfully quite during the times I've visited.
The entire staff is amazing but like always the liaison Ms. Wendy Hayes went above and beyond -not just for our deceased veteran but for our veterans active duty grandson who was able to attend the funeral last minute . God bless you Wendy and your coworkers at that beautiful veterans cemetery.
We went on Fathers Day. I had no idea this cemetery was here. It was in the countryside and we got the biggest surprise when we entered. There were so many cars that there were several traffic jams! Despite the large number of visitors it was a place of beauty, memory and respect. It reminded me of Arlington National cemetery. The Walk of Memorials was extraordinary.
On behalf of myself and my family we like to thank all the cemetery Personnel from the director, the office staff, grounds crew, maintenance.they've been so kind and helpful and compassionate they think of every small detail they go out of their way and above and beyond to help you in your time of grief. our son served in the Navy honorably and I know in my heart he is so honored to be laid to rest at the National Cemetery.we also like to thank All veterans for your service. God bless our military.
