The ONLY reason I'm giving one star is because his office staff is what keeps him in business! I went in for a simple tooth extraction on a chipped tooth. I left with a massive panic attack and in complete pain! He cut my gums and didn't even apologize and tried to work on my mouth even after I said I was in pain. His assistant had to tell him several times to "give her a moment." "You need to re-numb her some more." I wouldn't even recommend this guy if you are desperate!!!
Literally the worst place I’ve been to. I had an appt and all they did was basically take X-rays and then proceeded to ask me what was wrong. Then got me a referral to places far away. Not once went to look in my mount themselves until I asked what was the point of me even making an appt. I sat there for an hour looking at the wild life outside while waiting for some kind answers. If you want to waste your time this is your place to go. I’m going up there to see what exactly they sent to the insurance company for billing because unless it’s just for some X-rays I’m filling insurance fraud one them.
This office was much better when Dr. Regiister was there. She was amazing and so professional. She helped me with SO much. However, Had a few visits with Dr. Simmons and I will never go back. I had a temp. fill-in on my front tooth, and the work was awful, in my opinion. I had to suggest that it be fixed before leaving. No people skills, and definitely no actual concern on making you feel comfortable, or resolving your dental issues.
Dr. Simmons and his staff are professional and caring and very hands on. They treated me so kind thru my experience. I felt relaxed when it was time for my many procedures. I love how Dr. Simmons gave me my confidence back to me. U are truly a blessing and I to this profession. Thank you all so much
I came to their office after a VA referral and was told I needed a crown, no worries right. Wrong, I have been in that office for 4.5 hours this week for them to prep for temporary crown's, the first one just feel out and I was told that there was a part of chipped tooth that caused this to just fall out the second fell out after about 3 hours the following day and now it's Friday morning and at 9am I call to inform them of the situation and they tell me that their is no one working today that can do anything about this. I was better off before coming here. Now that Dr. Simmons has grinded my tooth down to a nub I will have to just wait till Tuesday next week. Not a damm thing to smile about here at Hinesvilles smiles. Not at all happy.
I went in for a visit yesterday and had a great time. I loved the set up of the office once I finally realized where I was supposed to go. The staff was very understanding and quickly got me squared away for my appointment. I didnt wait long before Brigitte came to get me. A lovely lady with a great German accent was so sweet to spend time with. She explained everything to me like it was my first dentist appointment and i loved it. I felt like I was visiting an old friend. She cleaned and examined me teeth and gently reminded me of the need to floss every night. Then I met Dr Simmons and he was so kind and helpful. He talked TO me and not AT me so that was refreshing. I loved the entire visit. The front desk ladies were fabulous and attentive. I'm looking forward to my next visit.
I don't understand how they can call themselves the "most renowned and comprehensive family dentistry practice". I was blown away by several things. First and foremost this place is so outdated, it's such a rundown dental clinic. On their website there's a "comprehensive list of dental services" supposedly performed at their office- Root Canal Treatment is listed as one of them but yet Dr. Simmons told me to find someone that performs Root Canals?! Confusing, right? On that same list they claim to be able to surgically extract teeth... Wrong again... I received a referral instead. Nothing comprehensive about this place or the Dentist operating this facility! 25 years in business but you can't pull a tooth or do a root canal?! And as far as family dentistry goes; I would not trust this place with my kids! I recommend taking kids to the place next door to this incompetent practice, Surf Side Kids, where the dentists are trained and equipped! to treat kids.
I was very nervous about having some fillings done. I had a very bad experience in the past at another office. I was given something the night and the morni g before the fillings, the young lady that assisted Dr. Simmons was very calm and because of how she made me feel I was able to relax. It was the easiest and most painless experience I have ever had.
Unfortunately, this was the only dentist's office in my area that accepted my insurance. Otherwise, I would have avoided them at all costs. Dr. Simmons was incredibly rude and judgemental upon examining my teeth, though he didn't know anything about my genetics or upbringing and he defintely didn't care to find out. I've called the office a total of 12 times since the beginning of December with no answer each time. Leaving a voicemail or multiple in my case, like they ask you to, is pointless as they don't care about your well being enough to return a simple phone call. At this point, letting my teeth rot out of my face would give me less of a headeche than dealing with these clowns.
Totally unprofessional and be cautious on how they bill your insurance company. Had my daughter get her check up and teeth cleaned, once completed, made an appt for cavities that were found on an X-ray. Went back to get them filled, received a call from them stating they found another cavity on the X-ray and that I had to bring my daughter back to get it filled. Mind you they already billed my insurance company and I paid the co payments already. They billed my insurance company again and wanted me to pay another co payment. I told them how is it possible that 2-3 months later you look at an X-ray and say we need to fill another cavity. Not trust worthy be cautious
