Always plenty of parking‼‼ it's a flat rate to park.. Very close to downtown so you can walk or take the trolley and honestly this was our safe Haven and we were driving our slingshot and had to get out of a storm
Conveniently situated across from the welcome center, there lies a parking garage providing ample space suitable for even large dually trucks. Notably, the garage is equipped with an elevator, ensuring easy access to and from vehicles. Within the welcome center, visitors are greeted with pristine, air-conditioned facilities, featuring spacious bathrooms that guarantee a hygienic and comfortable experience.
Lots of space, but elevators were out of service and nobody said anything as we entered. We ended up having to park on the 3rd floor, and upon discovering the elevators were out, we had to walk the entire way down all the ramps with a stroller in car traffic, which took us a good 15-20mins which isn't ideal when you pay $15 for parking. We paid a parking attendant as we came in, so definitely a chance to say something to people coming in, it's just basic common sense.
People were nice coming in. Worked good for parking but it was $15 a little steep. But this is convenient. You can ride the free shuttle 3 stops.
It's not cheap at $15, but it's clean, fast and hassle free. Large parking spaces with room to open doors. Stairs and elevators available.
There are places to park closer by but on hot days the shaded parking is great. $15 all day or you can choose meter parking at $2.50 hr. We parked at garage 2 days and at the fort 2 $10 at fort but car was super hot so I recommend the parking garage over the heat
Great place to park, 15$ a car, open 24hrs.... close to everything, only a few blocks to walk...bathrooms were at the bottom across from the entrance, that was nice after our long drive....will use again when visiting in the area
You'll have a bad time if you hunt around St. Augustine for parking elsewhere. You might pay a little more here but only if you don't value your time. Well located too. I'm glad this exists and they haven't ruined the historic area with too much surface parking.
The parking garage is a great solution to getting around downtown. If you are a local resident you can pick up a parking card and cut the cost down to $3 a day for parking instead of $15 for the day. Also if you are a disabled veteran rated at 100% total and permanent be sure to let the attendant know because parking is free! The parking garage has three levels with two sets of elevators one on the east side and another on the west side. If you at any point decide that you've had too much to drink and find a Safeway home rest assured your vehicle will be there when you return the next day to pick it up.
The lot itself is nice, but it's St. Augustine that it's truly amazing! What a wonderful visit we had there! We don't get to Florida too often, but this recent trip included a stop here and we were impressed and delighted with the town and the pedestrian shopping street no cars/vehicles allowed. It was still decorated with the holiday lights and all, and the night time vibe was spectacular!
