The Historic Myrtle Beach Air Force Base Museums Project encompasses a historic marker program, indoor and outdoor exhibits, and a Wall of Service.
The Indoor Museum Exhibits are located in the Base Recreation Center (800 Gabreski Ln) and Crabtree Memorial Gymnasium (1004 Crabtree Ln) are restricted to open hours for the individual buildings; open hours vary. See below for links to the City of Myrtle Beach web site for operating hours.
Outdoor exhibits at Valor Memorial Garden, Warbird Park, and the Wall of Service (all located on Farrow Parkway) are open from sunrise to sunset daily.
The Historic Markers program includes 156 markers located outdoors at various intersections and focal points throughout the Market Common District. The markers explain who the streets are named for, historic locations of important buildings, and history of the base.
