Built on the Virginia frontier in 1774, Smithfield, the elegant, Williamsburg-styled home of William and Susanna Smith Preston, has for over 230 years manifested the American spirit of enterprise and openness to change. Please come and visit.
Contrary to some auto navigator devices, Smithfield house is located east of Highway 460, at the end of that small snippet of north-south road visible on the map. Several of these devices show "Smithfield Plantation Road" as Bing does here, but the is actually "Plantation Road." "Smithfield Plantation Road" is a different road and lies east of Highway 460.
