Hitchcock Family Medicine

I've only been with Dr Hitchcock as a patient for a month now but I'm so grateful I found this office. I haven't had a primary care doctor in over a decade and am so glad I found this practice. The staff is always polite, professional and responsive. Dr Hitchcock is great, attentive and helpful. It's laid back in the sense you don't feel like you're thrown in a stale room to wait, then the doctor comes in, hears you out and then boots you out. He takes the time to make sure the issues you are having are heard and addressed and helps with a way to fix it. This place is wonderful and I would recommend them to anyone and everyone. Also, I needed a physical therapy appointment at the Brainerd Road clinic and Monika was just as professional, polite and helpful as the Hixson location crew.

After my first visit with Dr. Torbett, I knew I found “ the one” doctor. I’ve searched for a primary care doctor, in Chattanooga, for the past 8 years & really wish I would have started my search with Hitchcock Family Medicine. Alas, a doctor who is thorough, & actually cares about helping with my health goals!

We’ve been at this practice for almost 4 years now, everyone is so wonderful! Dr. Hitchcock has saved me from a trip to the ER and has seen myself and my children for last minute things, multiple times. I’m so thankful to have a doctor who is not only available 24/7 but also takes the time to listen to any concerns/questions I have. I recommend him to everyone! Best decision ever!

Dr. Hitchcock is the best doctor I have ever had. We have been with him since the beginning. He is honest, caring, and knowledgeable. I love that he keeps up with the latest research and can answer any question I ask him. I can call or text and he answers right away. Another great perk is that he dispenses our medications. We would never go anywhere else.

I recently found Hitchcock Family Medicine online and it was exactly the type of healthcare I was looking for. I set up an appointment and met with Dr. Ashley Sanders and I was very impressed my first appointment with how thorough she is. We discussed past health problems and what health concerns I have right now. She is very prompt with letting you know test results and it saves so much time being able to get most of my prescriptions filled in their office. The monthly fee of $75 is definitely worth it just knowing I will have access to a doctor and any questions I have are always answered same day or the next day at the latest I would definitely recommend someone to their office and if you have any questions they are great about taking the time to answer them either in the office or through emails,etc.

We recommend Hitchcock Family Medicine to everyone we know! Dr. H answers emails promptly, and has met us in the middle of the day to remove a Lego from my son's nose avoided an ER charge, and after hours for stitches for my husband and my son on different occasions again, avoided an ER wait and charge. We always have the office to ourselves, and we never feel rushed. Our concerns are always heard. We wouldn't want anyone else for our PCP.

During my time with Hitchcock Family Medicine, I have received nothing but excellent care! If you are looking for a good PCP, Doctor Ashley Sanders is top notch and thorough. The monthly payment plan also makes it easier to afford, especially in an emergency.

Doctor Hitchcock and Staff have been taking care of my family for a few years now and we are very satisfied with the services they provide. Always quick to answer any questions that we have and we do and would recommend Hitchcock Family Medicine to anyone seeking a top notch facility that treats you like family with a great staff. 5 stars!

I really like this doctor! I have Dr Torbet and he is great. I love the business model of their practice also. It costs me $75 a month and that covers everything they can do in office. Most of my interactions are through email. When I do go in, my appointment time is 1 hour of undivided attention from my doctor, not a 15 minute rush to get to get done. Any lab work that is done does cost but it is a great discount. My Vitamin D check from a private pay lab was $85 each time and with Hitchcock Family Medicine it is only $12. I have the comfort of knowing I have a doctor who has my best interest in mind, not a doctor who has to play insurance games. The refills are as easy as sending an email. They've called it in for me, or mailed it to my house, and they have lock boxes at their location where you can pick it up also. The first thing that really made me realize I had a great doctor is that he looked at my allergy list and suggested something completely different than any other doctor in 37 years of dealing with this. It really showed me that he is thinking of me as a whole person, thinking outside the box, and having the insurance limitation taken out, he can treat me the best way he thinks, not how the insurance company thinks. I've already improved my health and I really appreciate having a doctor I can turn to when I have questions. I may get tips and advice on how to deal with an issue or I might a doctors appointment. He also calls sometimes as my appointment. And for $75 a month, it's so worth it! I can't afford health insurance, co pays, and deductibles. But $75 a month is definitely affordable and I'm getting a good deal!

This is how healthcare should be! HFM is more than just another doctor treating you based on ideologies delegated by insurance. This is a “family member” treating YOU with regards to YOUR ideology, beliefs, and specific needs. This is a one-on-one relationship between you and your physician. You are the only person being seen during your appointment time, so they will not rush you. You will not be one of eight patients scheduled during the same time. They will not walk into the room for three minutes to tell you how you are feeling and hand you a script. Nope. They listen. They consider you. Then they treat you. You will not be disappointed!
