The atmosphere is pure fun. Arizona Wild West lake side fun! The pizza is pretty good . I tried the cowboy . It’s a lot of meat Fresh tasting sauce . Id score it about a 7. There’s a stage and when I was there they had a couple singing karaoke for the customers . They were fun and did country and classic rock .Decor is Wild West saloon through and through .
The service was good as was the food. The wings were large. Crispy on the outside moist on the inside. The pork tenderloin was pounded to just the right thickness and nicely battered and fried. Now the down side. If you want water you need to pay for a bottle. Soft drinks are not free refills. Also no guns posted at the door.Food: 5/5
It was surprisingly good. The pizza was good, the love music was great, and the beer was cold. The waitress was super sweet and did a great job! I would definitely recommend it. I'm from Michigan and was amazed that people ride horses to the bar and even more amazing that they just hang out up front.
Seems like a decent place for drinking/ entertainment only. Food was terrible, I had the fish and chips and the fish was literally inedible. Tasted like really old frying oil and it was soaking in it. Don’t serve ice water, bottled only $2 each, charge .99 cents for all sauces even though you pay $12-16 for an entree. Also charge a $2.51 fee for using a credit card. Glad I checked it out but I won’t be back.
Love the back outside seating! It would be great for taking kids during the day... they will love it out back, with the whole "Old West" theme - including a tiny jail for pictures, and covered wagons to sit in and enjoy your pizza or burgers, or whatever you have ordered The adults will enjoy the view of the Superstitions, a bit limited due to the fence, but still gorgeous! Along the south perimeter parking is a replica of an old west main street... great for charming and authentic looking pics of the kids in an old west setting! The food was good, we did wait quite awhile for our order... we expected they would be quite busy on Friday at lunchtime, but they seemed to be short on servers.... All in all, I truly enjoyed our visit to the Hitching Post.... definitely deserves another visit!
This place was very busy and a great atmosphere. Service was a little slow but overall it was an enjoyable experience. The menu is somewhat limited but enjoyed what we ordered.
Stopped in here as a last minute decision because I was hungry after driving the Apache trail. Turned out to be a great experience. Great food, live music and bull riding with America loving Patriots.
Fun night out. Watched Bull riding, danced with band...pizza was yummy. Love the decor. Met the owner Mo...very polite and Bull riding Judge Ty. Awesome night out with several friends. Kid-friendliness: To watch bull riding ... anyone under 21 required to leave at a certain time...not sure time ...heard the announcement after bull riding award winners. Parking: We had a close parking...arrived at 7 pm.
Super cute tables outside that look like wagons. Indoor and outdoor bar. Live music, bull riding, fun peopleRecommended dishesMO Wings
Not super friendly staff. Food was ok. It was quick service though. Neat restaurant/bar. Good for the atmosphere but low expectations on everything else.
