This is a nice grocery store if you’re looking for Asian groceries and the nearby international markets don’t have what you’re looking for. The highlight for me is the food court at the back, with tons of different Korean dishes to go or to eat at the mini bar.
I love Asian supermarkets So much variety, So much to take in. We Love HMart!
H-mart is my favorite place to buy various frozen dumplings, also fresh veggies, fruits, and fish. This supermarket sells many marinated types of meat, cakes, and ready-to-eat foods in the small sections behind the Kimchi cooler. I'll def come back for grocery shopping on the weekly basis.
I love the food court here. Inexpensive and delicious. The spicy hot tofu soup is my favorite, it is served with rice and 2 or 3 side dishes. There are other cooked dishes for take out also. Korean fried chicken is very good.
They just cleaned up and organized the place recently. It looks great and much more sophisticated than before. I always get the Thai banana from here because it's not too expensive. Today I got a cse of mango for only $6.99 8 pcs. It's a good deal. I like their fresh vegetables and seafood section as well. H- Mart is one of my regular shop.
A great place for Asian groceries in the Silver Spring MD area. Good selection of raw whole fish and crab with free processing service. Avoid weekends as the fish quality may vary. Vegetables quality also vary based on the day of the week.
Tons of excellent food choices, plenty of weird stuff you've never heard of if your American born. And great variety to sampling try. This is the beginning of your great cooking adventure
This is the second time I bought a soursop that was completely rotten in the inside but not ripe on the outside. This is a $30 fruit!
A fine e Asian grocery store. Clean and well organized.
This H-mart is pretty terrible as H-marts go. The store is fairly unkempt and hygienically filthy. The seafood section in particular reeks of fish, which is NOT what you want for seafood! Fishy smell indicates fish has gone bad. Since we had come all the way here, we decided to try some of the flounder anyway, and guess what? It had worms. : It does have a decent amount of Asian-food pantry supplies, so that is nice, but any H-mart is expected to have these things.
