I have been seeing Dr. Loesevitz for 4 years now and he is great! I always feel heard and respected, and he takes his time with each patient. I never have felt rushed which is very rare to find in a PCP. I can't recommend him enough.
This place was such a breath of fresh air after dealing with unprofessional & low quality doctor offices in this area. I am used to a doctors appointment taking a minimum of 3 hours my last doctors office would have us wait literally HOURS to be seen and were always behind schedule. With this office I had literally NO wait time. Plus the staff and doctor was extremely friendly and helpful to me! The office was clean and ran professionally. I got my entire appointment completed in 45 minutes and couldn’t be happier with my new doctors office. Thank you guys for amazing work!!!
Went to get bloodwork done at 915am today. I called 2 days prior to make sure an order was in for bloodwork. They said yes. I told the office I would come in Friday off a 12 hour fast. I got to the office, they checked and said yep your order is in the system have a seat. A few minutes later they call me up and say turns out this is an old order. Let me see what we can do. I few minutes later they tell me that they can't do the bloodwork because my Nurse Practitioner is in with a patient. Which has happened the last two times I went for bloodwork. They told me to come back on Tuesday fasting before my appointment. Which by the way is at 330pm. Wait what? I love my Nurse Practitioner, he is a great guy but he can't run the office too! Ever since Baptist Health took over this office it has been terrible. If I could give a 0 I would. This office needs to be retrained and overhauled. Just sad!
I have been a client at this clinic for about 4 years. Never has the Doctor been on time for my appointment but I could live with that. I made an appointment for a possible infection and the Doctor did not even do an exam, sent me to do my own. Today I had an appointment and was sitting in the waiting room after checking in, another person came to check in for an appointment that was scheduled with the SAME Dr. 15 minutes after my scheduled time. They called the ohter person back and when I asked them why they called a later appointment was told that it was because of the room that they needed for my exam. about 5 minutes later they came and told me that the Dr. was running about an hour and a half late. This is the worst clinic I have ever been to and they will be losing my entire familybecause of lack of respect for client time. They tell us we need to be 30 minutes early and then they run more than an hour late.
I cannot have just been lucky. I have dealt with this provider for years. I have been treated here by several different medical professionals during this time. Whether a woman or man , I have been well cared for and professionally treated each and every time at this practice . Are some of these people posting reviews here going to the same place I am? Unless there is an emergency yes, their patients have those my waits here have always been reasonable and the staff here is easy to deal with. I shudder to say this as this bring the haters out of the woodwork. Bluntly? Some of you are not getting nearly what you give. I realize sick people are stressed. I am no different. While in the waiting room I have witnessed sa few really rude and unreasonable people come in and raise hell with the staff for no good reason that was evident to me by what I saw and heard. This is public service open to all. Be more considerate and think of someone else than just yourselves. BTW, No . My relatives do not work for HMH . I was not asked , solicited or paid to post this review. I was self motivated by some of the less than plausible details I read here by others. They have a right to their opinions as do I . OK , trolls give me your best shot , like I care.
Today is Thursday, August 20th. On August 14th, I went to Urgent Care for an injury. Next business day, August 17th, I scheduled appointment with Karen at front desk for follow-up appointment with my PCM. Relayed to her that x-rays must be requested. Transferred to Nurse. Left message. Missed call from Nurse. Called back; no answer. Left another message. I continued calling to find out if x-rays had been requested and received which are needed for follow-up appointment. It's already difficult enough to get an appointment with your PCM but on top of it patients must engage with unprofessionals not all at the front desk. I have been calling since August 17th several times a day to get info. That's all! Not difficult! However, some people Karen at the front desk couldn't or wouldn't answer the question. Instead she passed my call to the doctor's nurse, who, of course, never answers the phone. I usually get a recording, leave a message and hope I'll get a return call. I did receive one. Job completed so no need in attempting to reach the patient again. The question was, "Has medical info from Urgent Care been requested and received for my follow-up appointment with my PCM?" It would not be wise nor beneficial as the patient to arrive to a follow-up appointment when the x-rays or any other info needed by PCM from another medical location is NOT available. After all the back and forth calls with Karen at front desk, I finally decided to get in my car and drive to the office. Karen wasn't there as I showed up as lunch break had just begun. Kathy, who was only individual available at front desk, was very professional and courteous. She asked me for DOB to pull up my medical info in system sitting directly in front of her. The answer I sought, after eleven 11 calls was, "yes, we have received your x-rays". I did not blame Kathy but had to ask why is it that I had to physically get in my car - while we're in the midst of a pandemic no less - to get an answer to my question. Kathy was very apologetic. Although I appreciated her doing so, it was not her responsibility to accept responsibility for another's Karen unprofessionalism and lack of concern in this matter. In the past, I would have sought another PCM in order to avoid this type of behavior from personnel at the front desk. However, I'm not going to do that. I have a great PCM and will not be "ran off" by front desk unprofessionals! I will continue to post as long as I receive this type of unsatisfactory service.
The absolute worst office staff I have ever encountered. First, they do not answer phones ever. I tried calling for 40 mins because I was lost, GPS wouldn't work and I am new to the area needing a new doctor. Was on hold the entire time. They answered the phone as I was walking into the building. Not their fault my GPS sent me to a random place, but once I got there the front office lady basically blamed me for not getting through to them. They wouldn't see me, didnt apologize for the hold or not being able to get through. I went to 3 different doctors offices trying to find the right one. Had to ask directions at a gas station after not getting to the right place. No idea why gps took me to a random office but it did. I am not from here and have only lived here briefly. I do not have family or anyone to help me babysit. Once I finally found the office the lady at the front, who also happened to be the one who answered the phone as I walked in, was incredibly rude. It was obvious I was in distress from being lost and them not answering their phones. I was also only 7 mins late, not over 15 like she kept stating. I tried and tried to call. 25 mins I was on hold! That is after calling 6 times, being on hold, disconnected and not getting through. She was unapologetic. "Well the phones ring all day so I dont know why you were on hold". She was snippy and nasty. I will not be back and it is a shame because I hear the doctors and ARNPs are incredibly good. This lady needs to learn to have some grace and some patience with people who may not be lying when it comes to getting lost or being late, especially since I was desperately calling for 40 mins and very much new to the area and the practice. Which she knew because she declined to deal with me after asking me if I had my new patient paperwork and me telling her no because they never sent it. If you are in the medical field, you should be able to handle patients and people with some grace and decency, not a nasty attitude and then push the patient off on an office manager who never came to speak to me. It would have been nice too if she hadn't also had me stand there and not informing me when or why the office manager "needed to speak to me". Ridiculous. She also claimed I violated the 15 min late policy. I was 7 mins late. I went to an urgent care, the one my gps sent me to by mistake and they actually were very kind, saw me right away and filled the script I needed for heart medicine which I needed a new doctor script for since I was new to kentucky and my doctor in NY couldn't fill anymore. Worst experience ever. Maybe divine intervention sent me to the urgent care first. As i was on my way home, after being rudely rejected by the office staff here at this place, I stopped back at the urgent care and they helped me. I recommend the urgent care center in radcliff. They had heart and helped me that day. Thanks to them I didn't end up in the ER with heart issues. This office needs to hire new staff. Rude and uncompassionate. Which is not ok in this day and age of viruses and deaths.
Was coming to write a review about wait time and now I see many people experience this. Wait time is excruciating. Hopefully it gets better. Always a positive visit when you finally do get seen. ^<^
Needed a new family physician and the nurse practitioner Renatta helped me with everything I needed: Thyroid, blood work, and much more. She was great. I really liked going to this little tucked away place. Would definitely recommend.
My appointment was at 9:30 and I still have not seen the doctor. It is now 10:45. I understand emergencies but someone could come and say it will be a longer wait. Crazy.
