Hodges Funeral Home at Naples Memorial Gardens was formerly known as Hodges Funeral Home and Naples Memorial Garden Cemetery. Earl and Thelma Hodges founded the funeral home in the early 1960s when it was located on Tamiami Trail in Naples, Florida. The cemetery was started in the 1950s by a group of Naples businessmen. A new funeral home was erected at the entrance to the cemetery at 111th Ave. next to St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in 2004.
In the Fall 2014, Sunset Beach Cremation Garden was inaugurated and exemplifies the iconic elements that characterize life in Southwest Florida: the Naples Pier; beach and sand; and starfish and dolphins. This carefully considered space accommodates grieving, contemplation and personal reflection in a refreshing atmosphere. Adding to our beautiful property, the new Sunrise Mausoleum will be completed in 2015.
