The food was wonderful. The brisket was soft and juicy. The kids loved Mac and Cheese and grilled cheese.
First time there and staff was very friendly. It was busy and had to wait a little but we got waited on and waitress was very hospitable, our food was great, tasted very good. We got to meet the owner as he approached our table and asked how we enjoyed the food and visit, He was very friendly and welcoming. Looking forward to going back.
My wife and I went for BBQ but discovered it was Saturday steak night so had that instead. Our ribeyes were done perfectly and so delicious, and were large enough that we took about half home. The sides were delicious as well. And the price was so reasonable we'll be doing this again, and soon.Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: YesTakeout: Yes
The food was generally just amazingly delicious, and the environment was comfortable and clean, with very friendly people. I don't normally care for onion rings, but some came with my meal and I decided to try them. I was Blown Away!!! I've never had seasoned onion rings this good... ever! A coworker heard me describing them to someone, and he said, "Dude, you can't have a spiritual experience with onion rings!" Let's just say that I will go out of my way to eat here again.
Ah-may-zing!! No sauce needed! Ribs, brisket, green beans, coleslaw and potato salad. Good lord, this is good!! This is Texas at its finest! Totally worth the trip! Fun view of the little airport. Cute bathroom. Fun atmosphere. It's where the locals go, so you know it's good!!
We were just passing by and deciding to stop for some food. The service was friendly, fast, and the food was outstanding!! The steak was cooked to perfection and tender! The BBQ was on point - great flavor, and I loved the sauce. The rolls and green beans seemed homemade, but I wasn't a fan of the banana pudding. I just prefer homemade custard instead. However, over all, I would give them 5 stars and plan to stop again if I am ever in the area. It's a great place to eat!!
A great find on our way to Red River. Had the When pigs fly which was delicious, but way too big. Our server was great!
Drove 90 miles to try this place. Wasn't disappointed . I had the 4 rib plate with onion rings and fried okra. Got 2 big ribs and 2 tiny ribs. Whoever is in charge of the pit knows what they are doing with ribs. Not overly smoky or overly cooked. Excellent ribs. Strange thing though. I asked for some jalapenos and the waitress offered grilled jalapenos. Great! But when they arrived, they were pickled jalapenos that were grilled. I was expecting fresh. Oh well.... My wife had a 2 meat plate brisket/sausage with a salad and onion rings. The brisket? You are offered 3 types- lean, moist, or chopped. Went for the moist which comes from the fattier part. Once again, whoever is at the pit knows how to cook brisket. Nice and tender and smoked just right. Her sausage was odd. Looked like it was cooked in a home made bbq sauce. I expected regular smoked sausage. It was good, don't get me wrong. Just unexpected. Only "complaint" I might have is they need to up the napkin game. Bbq is messy and the napkins fell short. : I will be back.
Pulled pork sandwiches and poppers where some of the best I've had. I'll be back for more heading back to Canada thankyou for the amazing experience.Food: 4/5
A very basic BBQ place. The atmosphere/decor just made the place look and feel old and dirty, even though its a relatively new building. The service was good, very easy-going, but attentive. The food was good, but nothing stood out. The main problem was the food came out at room temperature, or cold. Only my kids chicken strips and "French fries" were hot. The food is reasonably priced, just don't expect it to be hot.
