Chiropractic care is considered treatment without drugs which can help eliminate health problems as well as prevent them. The outcome of chiropractic care is to restore normal function to the body. Once normal function is restored, many health related problems are frequently resolved. Many people believe it is normal to have headaches, back pain, digestive problems, allergies, fatigue, trouble sleeping or even have trouble losing weight. Although common, these symptoms are not normal and are a sign that the body is not functioning normally. If left uncorrected these symptoms may lead to more serious conditions. We can check your body to see how well it is functioning. At our holistic chiropractic practice we typically see patients who have not responded to traditional medical care. We often times have patients come to us who have seen over ten other doctors with either no answers, no change in symptoms or both. Since most of the time people have seen multiple other medical doctors they have only been evaluated for advanced disease and pathology. This is of course effective when this is the root cause of the problem. Often times people have functional problems which may not have advanced to this stage yet though. This is why using holistic chiropractic care we tend to find answers to people’s problems by evaluating them functionally. This is a different way of looking at the body then the medical field. Please note this does NOT make one field right and one field wrong. Chiropractic care is simply a different way of evaluating and looking at the body and the symptoms it is expressing. Many times there are people who come to our holistic chiropractic practice who have never been evaluated functionally and are surprised to find all that is wrong. They are also happy when they are told that often times function can be restored using holistic chiropractic care. Chiropractic care results in an alleviation of symptoms related to that dysfunction or lack of function.
