What is Hijama cupping therapy (wet cupping)?
Hijama is traditional Islamic medicine and the Arabic name for wet cupping. It is a natural, religious, and spiritual healing therapy.
Hijama (wet cupping) is a method of treatment where blood is drawn from small superficial skin incisions, through suction from the skin. Hijama detoxifies the body and different organs by removing harmful toxins that cause various diseases & illnesses.
Effects of Hijama on the body:
Cupping cleanses & detoxifies, improves blood circulation and body pain, and refreshes the body, mind, and soul. It can provide relief to many different conditions and acts as a PREVENTIVE measure against many diseases.
The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said, “Indeed the best of remedies you have is cupping (Hijama)…” (Sahih al-Bukhari 5371)
Hijama falls under alternative medicine and follows the Sunnah. Our mission is to REVIVE the forgotten Sunnah of our beloved Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
