Unreal experience for children and adults alike! Having the tongues of the creatures lather your hands with their saliva is quite the involved experience and not for the feint of heart. Make sure your little ones are ready for some in for face wild animal action. No lions, no Tigers, no Bears, but oh my is this experience is - as the kids say these days - lit
We came to Hollywild to see the Christmas light display. The line to get in was not that bad. The lights were pretty decent, but charing $10 a person was a bit steep and then another $10 per bag of food if you want to feed animals in the deer yard. I didn't mind paying them because I knew the money goes toward care of the animals. The deer yard would have been better had not there been SO many cars in it ... it was chaos and deer were running all over. I felt bad for them. Perhaps letting only so many cars in at once would make for a better experience for people and for animals.
My kids always wait for the season when we could visit this place. Hand feed the animals, they always are very excited. Nice to see many animals so close. Three stars only because of very short period for visiting this place
Great staff! Animals were super cute and look heathy! Place is kept clean no trash on sight. Had a great time. Make sure to buy lots of food bc the animals do love to eat it.
Our family had an awesome time at Hollywild Animal Park this weekend. We did the "Cuddle with Cubs" animal encounter and it was AMAZING! The cubs were adorable! We thoroughly enjoyed interacting and feeding them. You may get some slobber on you but it is definitely worth the it to spend time with these fluffy little guys. Hailey was helpful, friendly and professional from scheduling the appointment as well as answering all our questions about the cubs during the encounter. We also had a great time doing the Safari drive through the park, getting up close, feeding and interacting with the animals. If you are in the area and enjoy animals we highly recommend that you take advantage of this great opportunity to spend time with these cubs or at least drive through and feed the animals.
First, i would like to say that this place was a lot of fun and great for the whole family. The only thing I must say was feeding the animals from your vehicle was a little chaotic because it's unorganized and there's cars going in every direction. And I did read a few of the review saying that you need an SUV in order to complete the trail but that is not true at all. We used a Toyota Corolla and we were just fine. But overall all the lights were lit up and feeding the animals at the little festival site was a lot of fun!
We went to the zoo for the drive in Christmas lights and feeding zoo experience. The lights were good and our daughter loved feeding the animals. The only thing is during the feeding section there’s no order so the vehicles were going in every direction.
The animals were fun. The Rams made it hard to stay in a spot for them hitting the car with their horns. It was pretty fun and we had many laughs and smiles. Would give 5 stars if it was cleaner
I’m normally the first to give a place the benefit of the doubt when it comes to a bad experience. I had good memories of Hollywild from my youth but clearly things have changed. The lights were decent but all seemed to be dated a bit and not synced to any music or radio station. Some lights were out but overall is was a decent light show. The trouble with mud and sliding was apparent almost immediately as you pulled off the main road. The further you go into the park the worst it got. We paid $10 extra to go to the deer forest and feed the animals. Upon arriving at the entrance the attendant gave us our “free” bag of food… which we had to show a wrist band for, not making it free. The field where the animals roam is pretty large and the only instructions given by the attendant were, “keep your lights on and don’t form lines”. It became obvious almost immediately that this was about to be a bad situation. Chaos is the best word to describe what happened next. The animals were roaming around all the vehicles, which on a normal day wouldn’t be an issue; however with the rain that the area got in the past few days it turned into a mud pit. Vans, sedans and trucks alike were all sliding around trying to make their way to an exit. We spent over an hour with what seemed like hundreds of cars trying to navigate and escape the field. My concern is that the staff and facility were more concerned about the dollars being brought in that the saftey of the guests or animals in the park. I truly don’t know how an emergency would have been handled. There were no staff helping people who were sliding and stuck. I would be concerned for anyone older or not used to adverse driving conditions driving through there. I hope the staff and facility look into this and put the guests saftey before profits. Hopefully this helps someone else avoid a horrible situation in the future.
We have always wanted to go to HAP and have put it off for years. We now have two boys ages 2 & 6 and decided to go. We was a little nervous about driving an hour and waiting an hour to get in and 2-3 hours to get through the park. But we got there at 5:15pm got in about 5:45 and made it though the park in about an hour. We absolutely had a blast don’t what a minute and just go!!!!
