Hey there, movie-loving dads and families! Gather 'round and let me tell you about the legendary Regal Hollywood Cinema on Woodruff Road. This place is as family-friendly as a backyard barbecue on a sunny Sunday afternoon, with all the corny jokes your dad heart desires. Now, imagine stepping into this theater, and it hits you like a perfectly thrown spiral from a Hall of Fame quarterback. The smell of buttery popcorn fills the air, tickling your nostrils just like your kids' giggles after a dad joke. It's a sensory touchdown, my friends! The moment you step inside, you're greeted by the friendliest staff this side of the end zone. They're like the offensive line, protecting your movie-watching experience and making sure you're comfortable in every way possible. Need extra napkins for those buttery fingers? They got you covered, just like a well-worn football helmet. As you make your way to the concessions stand, it's like entering the red zone of snack options. From the classic nachos to the cheesy pretzels, it's a veritable buffet of dad-approved delights. And don't even get me started on the soda fountain. It's like the ultimate hydration station, offering a touchdown dance of flavors for your taste buds. Now, let's talk about the theaters themselves. These bad boys are like the luxury box seats of movie-watching. The seats are so comfy, you'll feel like you're reclining on a La-Z-Boy while enjoying the big game. And the screens? They're as big and bright as your kid's smile when you catch them sneaking an extra cookie from the jar. As the lights dim and the movie starts, it's like the kickoff of an epic showdown. The surround sound engulfs you, immersing you in the action just like a good old-fashioned family huddle. You'll laugh together, cry together, and cheer together as if you're celebrating a family touchdown. And as the credits roll, you'll leave with memories that'll last a lifetime, just like those backyard games you used to play with your kids. Regal Hollywood Cinema on Woodruff Road is a touchdown destination for family fun, where every dad can be the MVP of movie nights. So grab your family, your corny jokes, and your popcorn-loving spirit, and head over to Regal Hollywood Cinema. It's a theater experience that'll make you feel like a champion dad, scoring touchdowns in the game of family memories.
Not a bad experience here, worth going to see a movie here for sure, however, is in need of updates including a IMAX theater room. Staff always friendly and helpful.
I am giving this 2 stars because of the way they handled Cinema day- They didn't offer matinees, which they did the day before and I was actually there the day before also, not having the matinees made for extremely long lines, both for tickets and concessions. I actually only got to see 35 minutes of the movie I paid for because of these long lines. And I am swearing off movies theatres for a good and we'll wait for the movies to come to the streaming services that I pay for anyway. They really deserve 1 star.
I think this might be the only theater on the East coast without recliner seating now. Not a huge deal for me, but make sure you’re fine with classic still very comfortable stadium seating before going. One plus - the screens are SUPER crisp. We went for Mission Impossible 7 and had a good time, but in a world dominated by recliner seating now, it wasn’t fully what we expected.
Noticed they have been keeping their air conditioning switched off for the last 3-4 times I went there for a movie. @management it’s a sincere request- we don’t wanna sweat due to the heat while we are in the cinema hall to watch a movie. It’s important that you maintain the air at a comfortable temperature.
Please note, this Regal Cinemas still does not accept Apple Pay / Google Pay at their concessions. A workaround is to download and order through the app no reg required then pick up at Mobile Concessions.
If you’re planning on getting concessions, plan on getting to the theater at least a half hour before your start time because that’s how long it’s going to take. It takes a mind blowing amount of time to just get some pop and popcorn. The service is so slow, even on the busiest of days.
A theater is a theater. I decided to watch Spiderman which was good but at a time when everyone else in the world showed up for barbie. The line was insane for snacks and everything was running out fast. Wyatt was the most polite man in the building. Despite the chaos and lack of staff, he was quick and considerate. The arm rest in the seats don't rotate up and that's a bummer but overall things were good.
Best theater in Greenville. The head staffing issues for a little while like most businesses in the area, but that seems to improved. I'm a regal unlimited subscriber so I go there a lot. There are lines as with most theaters but the staff are helpful and have good attitudes.
This theater is always great. It's clean, the staff is nice, and the screen/audio quality doesn't disappoint. However, if you come here on a Saturday night or anytime Sunday expect a fair share of morons to be in the audience with you and good luck leaving because traffic becomes an infinite maze behind people who don't know not to block the Woodruff Road intersection.
