Hollywood Casino Lawrenceburg, a Penn National Gaming property, is 20 minutes west of Cincinnati.

The Final Cut Steakhouse and Boogie Nights, the ultimate 70s and 80s dance club, both premiered in April, 2010. The Marquee Cafe made its debut a few months later, but was replaced with Hops House 99 in 2013.

Sorry this is so long but it's worth it...Both my adult kids have autism, & for my daughter's 25th birthday, all she wanted was to see the casino or at least the actual casino entrance & pavilion. From the time we entered, we were blown away by how beautiful the place was! I love the grand staircase! The map in the ceiling- Wow! Everyone was so nice and courteous! We met a really nice man from security and other employees who were so respectful, patient, and nice and, when they found it it was my daughter's birthday even wished her a happy one! They made my son feel like a gentleman his words. He loved meeting people. Everyone was so polite, that he felt very comfortable, even tho this was a new place and he normally gets nervous when we're somewhere new... When we save up some money, we intend to return so she can fulfill her wish to try one of the slots... My son wants to play roulette lol ... Thank you all for giving my daughter the birthday she wanted and giving my son an experience where he could actually enjoy himself! God bless each and every one of you...
Listed as a 4 star, we did not see it that way. First thing we noticed job entering was the stained carpet. Then the covers, right on top, one beds has stains, the other 2 rips. Took those off and carried on. Tv seems dated as well. I wouldn't stay there again
You will win next time Holly!!!! This time we took your cash. Lol. Well, it's a nice place to take your parents to hang out while you sit at the bar. The Cafe is too slow to prep orders or at least needs more people working there..... Rest is OK.
Machines are spaced well, clean, in good condition and a combination of old and new with great variety. Employees are prompt when you need service my ticket got stuck, very nice, and professional. The cage workers are pleasant and efficient. Had a sandwich which was great tasting at the bar outside the casino entrance. Waitress was quick with our food and attentive with drink refills. Great day!
Nice clean place for gambling entertainment. Non smoking which makes it great for non smoker's. Plus good places to eat.
The casino I would give four stars. Great dining options, free soda and coffee, easy access to alcohol if desired. Casino is clean and machines are spaced nicely. Staff are all courteous and professional. Don’t expect to win though. Slots are tight!! The hotel is barely 3 stars. Carpets look as though they haven’t been cleaned in a decade. Room smelled so strongly of cigarette smoke it triggered a migraine. The walls were yellow, tv and decor was outdated. Bathroom was run down and appeared dirty due rust and water stains. Bed linens were worn and bed was less then comfortable. For the price I would expect at least upkeep on carpets, linens and modern decor. Would not pay to stay there a second time but will revisit the casino on occasion.
Had. My Christmas party there this year. Was a very nice and clean place. Very fun! I will be back
I have fun when I come here, but definitely not my first choice if I am headed to a casino for the evening. There are so many nicer/newer casinos in the tri-state area. I always seem to win and do better at the other places than Hollywood. I feel that this casino is tight. They may be losing business because a lot of the casino was empty. I did appreciate the coffee and soda/pop stands at the corners of the casino. It was very convenient to get a nonalcoholic drink. I just like the restaurant/bar options better at other casinos that I have visited. The basement used to have Keno, but now it is empty and they moved the Keno to the back of the room. Less people are most likely coming and I noticed less machines and more empty ones too. It isn't a bad place to visit though. I just prefer other casinos more.
I wouldn't recommend this hotel. Was woken up several times by the noises outside. The sheers didn't close all the way unless rigged by the luggage rack. The curtains don't close at all so there was literally 2 streetlights, as seen in the pictures, shining into and onto my bed all night. The room is below average which was a huge disappointment for the price. Have stayed in much nicer hotels for half the price with free breakfast, a microwave, full size waters, and curtains that close. We had 4 people in the room, however there were only enough towels for 2 people without having to ask for more. The AC was cold, but so was noisy you knew it kicked on prior to feeling the cold air. TV selection was terrible. For the price their should have been at least HBO without having to pay for the premium movies, even low quality hotels have better TV selections. Would rather sleep outside than stay here again.
Went to play blackjack. I was happy to see a table that had three to two odds for blackjack with a $10 minimum bet$5 would be better on a 21+3 table where the side that is NOT mandatory dealing out of a traditional shoe without those stupid continuous Shuffle machines.I won't play those. Free soft drinks and the employees and Pit Bosses look like they enjoyed their jobs. Pleasant experience!
