They saved our little Peter’s life. After another local urgent care clinic had us restrict our small puppy’s water intake because he was drinking so much of it and even drinking his pee immediately, Peter was on death’s door within about 12 hours of the water schedule we were instructed to implement. After frantically calling the other clinic for help for four hours, they called me back and said they had done everything they could for him and emailed me a list of about 10 urgent care/ER facilities. They told me that if any had a wait list of less than 8 hours, to jump on it. He wouldn’t have made it another 8 hours without serious medical intervention because he was critically dehydrated. I called Blue Pearl and was so relieved when they said get him here immediately. The picture on the left was taken about 2 hours before he was taken to Blue Pearl. Of course it was expensive but they didn’t end up needing all of the money and refunded me about $700. We had a wonderful experience with all of the staff and especially with Dr. Wolff. He was diagnosed with a condition called diabetes insipidus and they kept him for about three days before returning him full of life again. We’re so grateful to them for helping our lovely guy. He’s a wonderful dog and truly a bright light in our family.
I personally had a wonderful experience with BluePearl. When your pup is experiencing an emergency at midnight there aren't many options, but I'm happy with my decision to take her here. The receptionist was friendly and informative on the phone and they were able to take her back right away. I waited maybe an hour total for them to take her vitals, assess the situation, recommend treatment and give care. Unfortunately my pup's condition did not improve the next day, so I brought her in again. The second set of staff was just as friendly and kind as the first, and they were again able to take her back quickly. I again spent only about an hour total while they did x-rays and bloodwork to further diagnose the problem. During both visits multiple options were laid out to me for different treatment paths and the cost was discussed up front. I appreciated the transparency and the hand in helping make decisions for her care. Ultimately it was decided to transfer her care to another facility to perform surgery, as they were again up front about the fact that it would be less costly to do it at a non-specialist hospital, and they were able to provide recommendations of other places they would trust. Every staff member I interacted with or overheard interacting with the other concerned pet parents was wonderful, kind, and attentive. The facility was clean and welcoming, and I appreciated having parking available so I had one less thing to worry about. The cost of any emergency vet treatment is high. That's just a fact, and going into a place like this you expect to be paying a lot. I appreciated that BluePearl was transparent about costs and wasn't afraid to recommend a lower-cost option when it was available. I owe my dog's life to these wonderful people, sending you all a huge thank you!
After being turned away by other local emergency vets, the team at Blue Pearl met us at the door as soon as we walked in & saved our Titan’s life. Words cannot say how comfortable they made us in one of the scariest times we’ve ever been through. Even after Titan was discharged from their care, they stayed available for contact and questions. Ever thankful to this whole team.
We were able to get a vet appointment within 24hrs. Dr. Zoe was very professional. You can tell she is passionate about her career. She was sweet to our pup in his final moments. She explained the procedure before she started and walked us through as she continued. Zoe always spoke and carried herself in a calming respectful manner while here. If God-forbid we need to call BluePearl I hope we get her again.
Franklin needed to see a vet ASAP after eating a remote control and biting into a battery. No other vets would see him including my own that I usually see. BluePearl understood that I needed him to see someone quickly and treated it as the emergency it was unlike other offices. Dr. Emma was very informative and other staff kept me posted on progress while Franklin was in the back going through his induced vomiting.
Firstly, I would like to say thank you to the staff who was so kind about treating my dog who had been hit by a car. We were aware of the situation and that they were extremely busy and were able to stay calm. We came to this is the facility with him waiting for us on site I can only imagine the stress that they were going through but to take time out to come make sure their dog was OK safe as we waited we’re so Kind of them my appreciation for the staff as they are so Overwhelmed with the cases there, but we’re still able to stay professional, and positive words cannot truly think this stuff enough for being so amazing with our little dog who is such a big part of her family
We’ve been here several times with our beloved geriatric Jack Russell. The staff and vet techs and veterinarians have all consistently been outstanding. Their standard of care, communication, and customer service are truly wonderful. Dr. Wolfe, Dr. Rupert, and Katie vet tech are among the many positive interactions we’ve had at Blue Pearl.
They’re more concerned about giving you an estimate for services than answering your questions or providing compassionate care. My dog was poisoned and they were more focused on getting money out of my pocket than helping my baby, I read through the reviews and saw that someone only had to pay 500$ but I was only given an option to pay 1000$ out of pocket or to put my dog down, and the woman who came in to give my baby his final gold byes was a monster and played with my dogs dead body in front of me! Sickening! I regret taking my dog to them and will never forget the dispassionate and rushed manner with which I was treated. If you love your animal, go elsewhere
I had never been to this hospital before I had an emergency euthanasia event where my cat of 16 years needed to be put to sleep. When I walked in with my cat on a pillow obviously in distress, a doctor immediately ran over and grabbed him from my arms to take him to the back. They brought him to me in an exam room and an extremely nice and empathetic doctor administered the euthanasia while explaining what was happening. They let me grieve in peace as long as I wanted without interrupting. Everyone was very empathetic and caring through the process. A couple weeks later I received a letter from them - they had actually taken ink blots of his paws and nose for me, and wrote a card where several staff members wished me well. It was very sweet and unexpected and I thank them for taking such good care of my beloved companion.
Our 10 month old pitty has mild hip dysplasia and Dr. Novo and his team were so welcoming, informative and helpful! We got in a month early off the cancelation list thanks to Sarah, and timing is crucial with hip dysplasia so this was greatly appreciated. Dr. Novo took the time to explain all of our options, give us visuals and comparisons and explained that they treat the patient and not the X-ray. The altruism and love for animals truly does show in this facility and we are so grateful to have been referred here.
