Richard Swanson's "Red Shift Rocker" is a public art installation at the Holter Museum of Art in Helena, Montana. The piece is quite lively and animated and reminds me of a rooster's comb! The gallery handles work by many diverse and talented artists and has something to fit most everyone's budget. Definitely worth a visit!
Pretty good art hut, filled with curious gizmos and knick knacks and such, all made by local artists. Someone brought it to my attention however that instead of saying holter museum of art, you could say holter museum of fart and that drastically affected my experience with the organization.Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNoPrice for adult entryFree
We saw the Helena Public School's K-12 grades art show. All types of mediums utilized. It was very satisfying to know Helena has such an array of budding artists!
Wonderful! Small space but well worth a visit. I loved the current exhibits. Highly recommend this place & wish I could see their next exhibit but I'm just passing through town.
I arrived here for my free gift for taking the "train" ride. I was not able to view gallary due to remodeling. I was greeted with superior friendliness. Did purchase can a small product with the 40 minutes before closing.
Very friendly receptionist. Bright clean museum. Their exhibits change every few months. So you can keep going back to see something different. Store part unfortunately not affordable. But it's understandable. Its art. But I would love to see them put a few things in there that everyone could afford as a souvenir.
Great place to see some fantastic art and interactive art as well.
Very good art exhibits and very friendly and informative staff.
This is Helena’s premier Art Gallery. It’s free also. Exhibits change now and again keeping it fresh. They also have classes for children and adults respectively.
