After a major operation I hired Home Helpers of Dallas to help me, as I live alone and new I couldn’t manage on my own. They were absolutely fantastic. From my initial meeting with Veronica and the helpers, the service and care was excellent. My helper and Veronica arrived literally the moment I got home from the hospital. I can never praise Loxanna my helper during the week, she was amazing. She cooked the most delicious meals, cleaned my house, did my laundry, even cleaned out my closet and organized my clothes and my pantry, took me to run errands, I am so grateful to her for helping me, I couldn’t have done anything during this 3 weeks without her help and care. The weekend helpers were excellent as well. I can’t praise this company enough and if I’m ever in this situation again I will not hesitate to call them for help. Thank you to all the staff, forever grateful.
I lived in a different state than my mother when I learned I would need to find some around the clock help for her … and very quickly. When I called the Home Helpers of Dallas office, I was not even sure exactly what was needed or what to ask for, but everyone I spoke with was kind and helpful. They really took the time to help me figure out next steps. They immediately conducted an assessment and made the whole process easy for us. This was very much appreciated in a time that was to say the least, challenging and even more stressful as I was not there in person while navigating new and stressful territory. But this team of people were so compassionate and eased my mind every step of the way. I highly recommend calling them if you’re looking for someone to help and take good care of your loved one.
My caregiver Chloe M is always here promptly at 10 AM. She knows what needs to be done and she keeps me on track for my pills and showers. She always makes my bed as soon as she arrives. She is good company; I learn a lot from her and we share experiences.
My 100 year old mother-in-law fell and suffered a severe back injury. Flying to Dallas from Seattle, we were in need of immediate and flexible help arranging and providing care. Veronica at Home Helpers Dallas was absolutely AMAZING. She responded instantly, arranged care, and provided service on a constantly moving schedule. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
My mother and I traveled to Dallas for her spine surgery. Home Helpers was able to help me arrange last-minute care for my mother who was having complications post-op. They were quick and efficient with their care and communication. In particular, our caregiver, Henny, went above and beyond with her performance. First off, she was very communicative and thoughtful and made my mother and I feel like we were her family! She was so extremely personable, it made the awkwardness of my mother’s new care transition smooth. She was very attentive to both my mother and myself, and our needs. She went above and beyond expectations when it comes to care, communication and even the cleanliness of our Airbnb. I couldn’t recommend Henny and Home Helpers more. Please don’t hesitate to use this service!
For many years I have enjoyed the service of companionship care. Veronica and the staff she directs has been efficient and caring. My hat's off to the staff in general at Home Helpers of Dallas for their support and of the care I have received from them.
We had to arrange help from out of town, and Home Helpers was outstanding. They kept us up-to-date on our mother’s health and were very responsive. The caregivers were kind, caring and patient.
Norma has been assisting me while I recover from surgery. I couldn’t ask for better help. From getting me outside for a walk to preparing my meals to helping me shower and cleaning my house, I am most happy with her years of experience.
I found Home Helpers sort of accidentally actually and spoke with Alexandra on the phone, during which she was very thorough and professional. When I met with her the following Monday about care for my grandmother in person, I was ultimately assured though. Alex is very considerate and caring. We felt in good hands and she was patient in going over details of diet, medicine, etc. all in person. It's clear she has an expertise in care for the elderly in the way she speaks and questions she makes sure to ask if need be. I am looking forward to hearing how the help at my Grandmother's goes, but our initial meeting really put me at ease.
The staffing coordinator Will is awesome at working with you to see that he finds the right person to care for your loved one. He always seems to make me feel like Mom is his only client and I have a sense of relief knowing that he seems to find the right caregiver to be with her. I am so fortunate that he recently has found an awesome caregiver to be with Mom who provides the kind of care I want her to have. I find the Home Helpers staff very eager to help and am pleased to have an agency I can count on.
